great place , super clean and nice therapist Recommend to book before coming . At least one day in advance . There’s a welcome drink and tea after the treatment.
The spa was extremely clean and everything was geared towards relaxation from the style and decor, staff attitudes, ease of scheduling, and attention to detail. As soon as you walk in you are greeted in a very professionally attentive but friendly manner. Tea and cool towels are brought to you to sit and enjoy which was a very nice little touch.My girlfriend and I stayed at Avani Sukhumvit for 2 weeks and both got massages almost every day. We went to a few other spots first (there are tons on the street outside the hotel) but none were comparable. The masseuses at most places just went through the same prelearned routines with no focus on you. At Avani the masseuses bothered to learn what areas were bothering us, feel around for the knots, and focus there instead of just a basic “hit everything the same” massage you get most places. That makes a HUGE difference.The staff was amazing. The manager, Bo, and Aom, the assistant manager were 100% focused on our needs and were the definition of “Hospitality”. They made scheduling easy and went above and beyond every step of the way whether it was us running late from learning BKK traffic and making rescheduling easy and fitting us in anyway to making sure preferred masseuses were available when we wanted to schedule. They really made our trip!If you’re in BKK you have thousands of options but if I go back after trying many THIS is the only one I’d even consider!Do yourself a favor and add on the foot massage but I’d suggest getting it near the end of the day in case your feet are a bit sore from the work right after 🙂
