If you are not staying in that area maybe a bit hard to find as it is located in the side lane, but once in the side lane you can not miss it. Best 45 min Thai massage for a little money. Good after a long walk, working, exploring day in Bangkok. Though English is not their strongest language.
I’ve had my fair share of foot massages throughout my travels in South East Asia and this shop ranks at the top of my list. Very professional and soothing massage with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I felt sad to discover this place on our last night in Bangkok.
I stayed in Bangkok for a week and got to visit here because my friend who previously visited here highly recommended. During my stay, I tried 3 different places, and Baan Sabai Onnut was by far the best massage place. It is located in rather not-the-most-touristic area of Bangkok, but it’s worth so much. For this price, my expectation wouldn’t be too high, but the massage experience was absolutely beyond my expectation and I loved it so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! and the owner was super nice and kind. This is a real deal and you can truly trust the place. No cheating because you are a foreigner. I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to thank them so much for my great experience, so I came out of my way to write this review. I hope more people visit this place, so good massage shops like this can continue to be there!!
I live in Bangkok for over 14 years and had a lot of massages but this is by far the best place for this price range. I don’t always get the same masseuse but they are all very good and professional. There are many other massage shops in the same soi but I always come back to this one.The only thing is the music is always the same song, perhaps update the music selection?
One major thing that is a pet peeve of mine is the masseuses chatting loudly with each other, sometimes talking about us, the customers, when they think we don’t understand Thai. This never happens at Baan Sabai. The masseuses keep to themselves, are professional, they follow the customers’ wishes (I’ve been at a place where I said I don’t like pain, and the masseuse said “if there’s no pain, it’s not good.” Needless to say, no tip for her and I never returned. It was a competing shop on the same street). With no loud workers yelling at each other while they pause on your feet, the ambience is very relaxing. You can actually listen to the calm music, and focus on the sensations that run through your body as your feet are being massaged. I sometimes fall asleep too. That’s how relaxing the ambience is. No wonder they’ve now had enough success to expand and are now the size of 3 shops. I have brought family and friends to this place when they say they would like a massage.
