  3. Manuel is an excellent seller. He has the best ephemera and cards shop. Wish he gets more to buy him in next trips. He speaks thai german english and little spanish.every time i go to bangkok i visit him and buy lot of postcards

  4. This store is run by a kind German, and is a treasure trove of historical material and books – if you want a glimpse into the past of Thailand, stop by and browse the postcards, the pictures, and other bits and pieces. The things sold there don’t seem to be mass produced unlike many of the trinkets found elsewhere in Chatuchak Market, and even if they are, they’re remnants from an earlier time – making the collection of items particularly fascinating just to look at.

  5. The owner has a lovely presence and is very kind. Amazing finds for your souvenirs and collectors! I bought some cigarette cards and postcards. A definite must see at JJ market.

  6. What a surprise to find such a genuine antics shop in the Chatuchak market, usually filled with brand new items! I bought some lovely 60’s or so postcards for a ridiculous price. Perfect gift for a nostalgic traveler 🙂 The owner is very kind and dedicated to his shop. All your purchases are translated into a donation to a poor girl, so do not hesitate to buy more than what you initially planned.

  7. Excellent collection of genuine artefacts of Thai life from the ancient to modern. Large and small. Antiques to postcards, it is all here. Run by a friendly operator who will spend time to answer questions and very helpful. Don’t miss this on your visit to Thailand.

  8. A rare insight into Thai history. Highly recommend! If you want to get a glimpse into an earlier era, this place is it! This place has rare books, Khon masks, stamps, photos, posters, and antiques.

  9. The friendly German owner Manuel is a highly knowledgeable dealer, and speaks Thai and excellent English. Genuine pieces. Excellent collection of authentic antique opium weights.

  10. Very friendly shopowner, good selection of old books, gotten a book which is called ‘The French Wolf and the Siamese Lamb’
