  1. I have to say I was quite surprised. Clean, well laid out, nice and simple. I expected chaos. I went to any counter for a bus to Pattaya and was lucky to get one straight away. They do depart quite frequently in any case. I paid and got a cheap ticket. Someone got my bag, put it on the minivan and off we went on time. The minivan ride was another thing. I spent most of the journey praying as the driving was so bad! The van was clean but small. Not spacious but comfortable for a short two and a half hour ride.

  2. Very professional and had a nice meal there mabye my country UK should take a leaf out of Thai book, very relaxing and pleasant wait for bus to Pattya

  3. Tried to catch the bus from Pattaya back to EkkamaiThe woman at the counter was so rude and insisted that I pay for an extra seat for my carry on size suitcase.I had no problem bringing this same suitcase from Ekkamai to Pattaya, but she saw a foreigner and an opportunity to make some more money. So, she gave me a take it or leave it option. I left it.There was a Thai lady who came after me with a large check in size suitcase. She was charged one ticket. Not coolWill never use this company. T TOUR, again

  4. It’s a bus terminal! With lots of booths selling tickets for buses throughout Thailand. We used it for the 999 government bus from Bangkok to the ferry for Koh Chang. In fact we went a day early but there was only one seat left for the best 7.45 AM bus the following day. So we bought tickets for the 9.30 Trat bus and from Trat a shared taxi was waiting to take us to the ferry. Took a bit longer but it all worked out. We also bought the return leg for the 999 bus back when we were at Ekamai, a good move. It allowed us to enjoy Koh Chang without the worry about our return journey.

  5. Review ekkemai bus terminal bangkokTrip to Pattaya.Do not use the minibus service. They charge 150 bht per person plus 150bht for each item of luggage in an extra seat. They pile luggage on top of each other in the extra seat you paid for for your luggage, then pile as much cargo on top as possible. My luggage was retrieved with straps broken and damage evident. They threw it off the bus along with a refund of 100 bht, a quick ‘ sorry’ then off they went. Cheap travel to Pattaya but better getting a larger coach for same price. Bus will either take to beach road area or Jomtien bus station. Onward travel from both areas easy using baht bus if you know hotel location and distance from main baht bus runs.Taxis available, at a premium in both areas. Negotiation possible.Ekkamai located on BTS route in Bangkok.Taxi bkk to Pattaya 1500 to 2000 bht.

  6. Best to book the coach/bus online a few days before needed as just turning up can be a disappointment. Was easy to find and get to. Waiting is outside in the shade but bring mozzy spray for flies. Easy to get ticket .

  7. Be very careful who you buy minibus tickets to. They want to sell tickets to foreigners, probably charging more (200THB for Ban Phe) and tell you the bus leaves ay 8…. when in fact it left at 8h30 and another same.bus left at 8… So don’t stop at the woman calling when you arrive, pass the tickets booth and go check directly at the bus area the next one leaving and ask a local for the price they paid, they will sell you the ticket in that bus anyway. Pictures attached of the one I used to avoid next time . Hope that helps 🙏

  8. No English spoken at all, and they don’t respect customers at all. They give wrong informations and complains after. I’m used to solo traveling but never had such an horrible experience than this one. If you book a way to Pattaya with 12 go at the counter N.28 the girl is so rude I’ve never seen that in any way. if you attempt to get tourist then you should have at least someone that knows how to speak basic English.

  9. I took minivan to Pattaya and it was great. Didn’t wait more than 10 minutes to depart. Minivan dropped me off at the center of Pattaya. Both in Bangkok and Pattaya I needed to walk from/to original/ and final destination less than 10 minutes. It is by far most convenient way to travel between these two cities.
