Health Land Spa & Massage (ekkamai) is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 96/1 Soi Sukhumvit 63, Sukhumvit Rd., Prakanong Nua, Wattana , 10110, Thailand
The place was huge. The place was clean though. The place was crowded and we basically did a walk-in but didn’t wait long and we all really enjoyed our massages. I’ve definitely had worse massages that were much more expensive. I’d certainly go back to Health Land. (And did.)
We booked a 1-hr foot reflexology massage as part of our company retreat in Bangkok on 20 August 2019. It was suggested as a place as Healthland has been known for their quality massages at a reasonable price. To our horror, a number of our staff sustained quite a few bruises during the course of the massage which was only uncovered the next day. Please see the attached photos for clearer representation. The staff were also quite unprofessional in terms of handling the customers, with many of the masseurs surrounding our staff demanding for tips when they were about to leave. This was despite the fact that some of them felt that the massage was not good and therefore they didn’t feel that the tipping was justified. In addition, when feedback was provided to the firm, none of them bothered to reply despite our complaint. In our opinion, the least they could do was to offer a decent explanation of how this could have happened. I would seriously suggest to everyone with the intent to visit this outlet to reconsider before patronising them.
My husband and I are frequent visitors to Thailand and often visit Healthland for a well earned Thai massage. I booked a two hour Thai massage with the view of knowing we were going to experience a great massage.Unfortunately, this visit didn’t live up to our expectations. The two masseurs were friendly enough and the massage began well – that was until they decided to ruin the experience by talking (and I mean having a chat)for the whole two hours! The massage quickly went sour as it was pretty clear that neither had a clue what they were doing. Whilst chatting (obviously something incredibly important that it couldn’t wait) both masseurs lost track of what they were doing, at times this was painful, other times, lead to areas being missed etc. Sadly a negative experience today, really unprofessional service. We shan’t visit again. There are so many other (and cheaper) better quality options in Bangkok.
Good place to relax I enjoy the thai massage the mostWill come back for few more things to try. Thank you for relaxation
I was there with my family, my mother and my husband. We enjoy the 2 hours thai massage, the masseur can relax our strain muscles well I also have my daughter there, she can be in the massage room, they provide a room for 4 for us, very nice!We will surely go back there
My friends and I just had a traditional Thai massage. Unfortunately for two of us, the masseuses assigned to us were seemingly ill-trained, rough, found the task too cumbersome that all they did was make our muscles sore than when we came in.I understand the language barrier, but instead of telling me what she wants me to do, she would pull my leg or body not so gently when she needs to position it. When I asked her to massage my arm, she did so grudgingly and pounded on it hard that I had to tell her to stop as it was painful. We were in this branch three days ago and had the same kind of massage but wow, was it enjoyable. We are regular customers and because of this bad experience, I do not think I will be coming back.My tip: except to ask for luck in getting a good masseuse, let the front desk (ask for someone who speaks AND understands English) know that if at anytime you are not enjoying your masseuse, you have the option to change immediately.
I’ve been visiting Thailand for the past 12 years. This place was once the place that local Thais would recommend. I remember an excellent service attitude, high quality massages, and reliable experiences. My past two visits have been very poor. At the desk, there is no traditional Thai welcome or smile, it feels more like a business transaction. The massages themselves were horrible, some of the worst I’ve had. The hand and finger movements are done sloppily as if someone is checking off the box and getting things over with. There are times when there is a pause, as if they are checking their phones or falling asleep. I got burned on my last one. The first time this happened to me, I was shocked, but thought it was the masseuse. But, the same thing happened on a second massage. This time I know it has something to do with the training and the management. I can feel that the morale is much lower and it has lost its human and cultural touch, which makes for poor “get it over with” style massages that don’t resemble anything Thai. It’s no surprise that I no longer see any locals here, they are all foreigners. And, most probably do not know better because they won’t be coming back again as they move on with their travels.I have been here long enough to know that other places can offer excellent massages for 100 baht. I had stuck with Health Land because of my initial experiences of quality, culture, and reliability. I can no longer say that. Seems like maybe the management has changed or it has become much more business focused, because there is a clear loss in the spirit and the quality.I won’t be coming back again.
Clean ,safty and professional massage for Health land Spa. I feel comfortable to use the services of this branch. It is relaxing for me to have an oil massage, by the way I like both oil and Thai massages. Thanks for the creation of a nice place and a nice service.Rgds,Smerkhae L.
It s a huge store, lots of customers.Aroma oil massage was decent with the right amount of pressure .Foot massage was very average and felt it was not properly worked on.I do notice many visitors complaint about lost time, which in my case I only receive 75 minutes of massage out of the 90 minutes paid.I suspect they started counting time from the moment I leave my seat to go to the massage room, which includes the time where you change & shower :/. Honestly hope the management can come up with a timer for each employee to start when they actually started the massage.Overall the massage really depends on which masseurs you get
