  1. Amazing resort with every amenity possible. We had a pool cottage which gave us a lovely suite and private pool. It is comprised of many cottages and buildings with several rooms in each arranged around a small lake. Several on premise restaurants all outstanding. Several outdoor pools. Rooms with nice towels and bed linen. Dining rooms outstanding and also Great breakfast buffet. Staff friendly and helpful. This was a relaxing end to our trip. This resort is a short drive from the city.

  2. Took my mum and sister to experience a touch of luxury there during our 3 nights stay, it turned out to be the best decision! It was a last minute booking but they managed to fit all 3 of us in. I personally did the aloe Vera wrap which healed my sunburnt instantly! Well worth it and they even drive you to and from there in the buggie 🙂

  3. We went to the spa for a couples massage for 90 minutes. The spa was pretty quiet as it was on a secluded part of the resort. The spa prices were pretty expensive. The staff were very attentive and polite. The massage was ok – we have had better but not bad.

  4. This resort, tucked amongst the rice paddies, is outside of Chiangmai, Thailand. The grounds are amazing with walkways through the jungle-like greenery connecting the facilities and villas.Rooms are large and wonderfully appointed, most with private outdoor balconies furnished for lazing. There is a multinational clientele to further add to the exotic atmosphere.Delicious breakfast buffet with eggs to order. A Thai restaurant and Italian restaurant on site, sadly, grossly over priced.Easy spot to shop from with a shuttle into the neighbouring town or dine more reasonably.Loved all the orchids!

  5. With the Four Seasons icon and the price we paid, we automatically set a higher standard for what we received. We could tell the massage therapists tried their best to deliver a top-notch spa experience. However, they failed because of one of the two therapist coughed constantly throughout the treatment. The noise is quite annoying. Ironically, the therapists asked if the background music was ok in a few occasions. I did not know if they realized the noise of coughing and throat clearing outweighed the background music. The spa center should have checked the health condition of the therapists in advance. After our complaint, the spa manager gave us a discount on the price, yet with the spa experience compromised.

  6. Very zen feel. Pampered from the moment you walk in. Treatment professionals are excellent; the treatment “suites” amazing.

  7. The Thai message is known worldwide. Experiencing a Thai message in Thailand makes it even more special. The pinnacle in spa experiences, however, may be reached at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai. The journey to the spa begins with the peaceful walk through the botanical garden like ground. The setting is a beautiful Thai villa that requires changing to flip-flops before entering the grand and handsome reception and sitting area. The beautiful staff walks one through a very varied spa menu while having ginger tea with rice cakes. The message itself experienced by the family was quite extraordinary. And there is no shortage of beautiful jewelry to buy when you return for more tea and bisquits. Travelling this far across the world should contain memories etched for life. The spa experience was one of those memories.

  8. We stayed at the Four Seasons for 3 nights. The resort is beautiful. The rooms are large, with beautiful bathrooms and large porches. The rooms surround the pools and a rice paddy. There are 2 pools, one for families and one for adults. Generally, they were not very crowded. The resident greeters are two water buffalo. The hotel has a couple of restaurants- traditional Thai and Italian. My friends said the pizza at the Italian restaurant was really good. As much as we enjoyed the Thai food, we all needed something else, and Italian was a nice change. The only downside to this restaurant is that it is outside and can be very hot. The breakfast and dinner buffets at the main restaurant offered an amazing array of foods. There is a nice gym, bike rentals, and a kids’ area. However, we didn’t use any of these. Friends who had massages said they were very good. The staff at this hotel is one of its best attributes. They made us feel like family. A shout out to Yani who seemed to be at every meal welcoming us. The flower arrangements were true works of art. The hotel is not far from the Tiger Kingdom and one of the Elephant Camps. The Orchid Farm is across the street. It is not close to the center of Chaing May, however. If you are heading to Chiang Mai, and want a truly outstanding hotel, book the Four Seasons.

  9. Highly recommend May at the spa! She was very experienced, extremely hospitable, and the quality of the experience was top-notch!

  10. Full body massage with May at Four Seasons Spa Chaing Mai. One of the best massages I’ve had in my life. Very talented and aware. My body feels much better following the massage as she worked through the tension with just enough pressure and still felt relaxed the entire time. Hope to see her next month.
