  1. This place was great. We enjoyed the butterfly garden and holding all kinds of creatures including bugs, iguanas, tranculas and turtles. Our kids 8 and 10 really enjoyed it

  2. A really interesting and interactive activity! The rooms and displays with 1000s of insects was extraordinary. The insect breeding area and butterfly garden were well done. My teens spent almost two hours exploring.

  3. Large and entertaining displays of live an mounted reptiles, insects and arachnids. Better than the Orchid and Butterfly Farm.

  4. So cool to see all the local bugs up close and lizards! Kids could spend hours, we spent 15 minutes after the Tigers and lots of other places nearby, definitely worth the stop & bhats! 😃 Everyone working there is so knowledgeable & friendly too.

  5. Amazing place. Staff really Nice and helpful. Really interesting. If you want to hold a spider or scorpion, this is the place. The animals should really have more space though😊

  6. It’s entertaining and educational. As well as butterflies and moths there are lizards, tortoises and scorpions. Great for kids.

  7. If you’re in Chiang Mai take the time to travel just out of the city to visit this zoo/museum. It is amazing. Well worth visiting. Amazing displays of bugs from all over the world. Museum rooms filled with displays. And also a live section of spiders, butterfly’s, bugs, lizards, turtles, scorpions and more! Staff friendly and give information about the animals. Cheap entry. Lovely cafe to eat lunch after.

  8. This was an interesting venue that we are able to compare to similar ones we’ve visited in different countries. The exhibits are not very well maintained, but it’s clear that a lot of thought went into designing them originally.I liked that there were a lot of staff around, some of them offering up critters to handle. There were school groups there, making it difficult to get around, but I was pleased to see the young people being exposed to the beautiful invertebrates. The iguana collection seemed a bit out of place, but there were some beauties in that group, too.

  9. Dealing with moths and pests involves a multi-pronged approach. Start by identifying the pest type; clothes moths and pantry moths require different treatments. Keep areas clean and store clothes and food in airtight containers. For clothes moths, wash or dry-clean infested items and use moth traps or natural repellents like cedar. For pantry moths, discard contaminated food, clean shelves, and use pheromone traps. Seal entry points to prevent further infestations. If DIY methods fail, consider professional pest control. Regular monitoring and maintenance are key to preventing reoccurrences and keeping your home pest-free.
