I would definitely comeback. It is my 2nd time coming here and as always, you will walk out with a smile. Salespersons are always friendly especially Ms. Deam. Looking forward to comeback again.
Really enjoyed the presentation at the beginning of the tour. Made me appreciate the work & creativity so much more. Rata was a wonderful sales rep, very personable and funny! Made the experience so much better. Stunning work, great costumer service and even better pricing. Would go again
We came here by bus, like many others, we were on an organised tour. No one asked us if we wanted to… It just happened. We were supposed to be on a day trip to Ayutthaya. But the trip was rushed to be in this place at 3pm.As we had been to a family coconut farm the day before, we thought, based on the description of our tour guide, that it would be something similar… that we would see how a family makes jewellery, that we would learn something and have a little shop of their products and support them…But whew… this is an organised bringing of customers to a big jewellery store… It has nothing to do with a tiny family business somewhere in a village in an original Thai house. As soon as we arrived we were herded into a small cinema… I still managed to notice outside the door that it was going to be in our second mother tongue from middle of Europe… I’m used to seeing a video about a national park in the visitor centre in the US. . this started to make me suspicious: we had to see it and they have intro movie in our mother language (in a common national park we can watch, not must watch.. and the language of the show is not set to the language of a miniature nation in the middle of Europe). And what small family business in Thailand has a cinema?Of course, I know now that I completely misunderstood where we were taken. The video was very short, more commercial than informative… and then they led us into a room where a few people were working in the middle… grinding etc…. So I said to myself, poor people, they are like in a zoo… How can someone do such precise fine work when there are XZY people looking at them… It is probably not realistic that everything they offer in the shop is made by those 5-6 people we saw here.I hope they have a real workshop somewhere else.As we left the room, the real experience began. With no time to look around, we were ushered into a huge jewellery store – far from the cosy family shop we had expected. Feeling manipulated, we decided to browse anyway; after all, we had 50 minutes before the bus was due to pick us up… but an employee immediately started following us, commenting on everything and pushing items aggressively—rings, bracelets, zodiac-themed jewelry. We couldn’t browse in peace. When I stopped at the pendants, she quickly draped a necklace on me, handed me a mirror, and kept swapping pieces despite my repeated refusals.I said no… and for each no, she replaced the necklace around my neck with another and another necklace with other pendants…I am on the autism spectrum… my husband and I are also strong introverts, we don’t like to socialise, we don’t like to talk to strangers and these practices have been incredibly distressing and abusive and we have really survived it with a lot of self denial and then medication. I understand that you want to sell, but if someone DOESN’T want to buy and keeps saying no, they DON’T want to be followed around by an employee and they DON’T want to be given jewellery every time they look in a display case.I accept that such practices suit most people. Most people are not on the autistic spectrum. We didn’t know what we were getting into because we might as well have put a sign around our necks telling people not to talk to us.Wearing multiple pendants, I asked if they had one with red rhinestones like the one I showed. Neither staff member could find one, nor did they suggest making a custom piece. For a place that pushes sales so hard, offering personalization seems like a missed opportunity. The bus tour guide claimed we could get a tax return on the jewellery, but traveling to other countries by bus disqualified us.The silver jewellery was pricey for its simplicity. I own some, even from expensive Iceland… None stood out as stunning, though it was hard to focus while being stalked.
The gems are a real deal. Everything has documents for the gems to prove it.The staff are nice and helpful. They cater your every need. The prices are good too
Ms. Leng was very accomodating. She was so helpful. It was also nice hearing almost all of them speaking Tagalog. When you happen to visit Gems Gallery look for Ms. Leng to get a superb service. ??
Excellent service. Lots and lots of beautiful jewelry. It was difficult to choose. Thank you Panya for helping me to choose my christmas ring. I love it
I highly recommend visit this gallery, I have been assisted by Mrs. Lisa who gave me a variety of options and helped me a lot.
The place is a gem like its name. Its my first time to visit the store and I was warmly welcomed by the sales personnel. Lisa and Honey were amazing. They were very patient also with my transaction. They were very helpful. So many items and designs to choose from.
We had the most pleasant experience with June! She was very helpful, and had the best recommendations. We hope to come back to visit soon!
Beautiful selection of stones and jewelry.Pam helped me and my mother pick jewelry for our whole family. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She was very honest and fair. We were very happy with our experience.
Surprised at how welcoming this gallery was, there was definitely an impressive selection of jewellery with so many combinations of gems with various metals. There were also precious stones on display. Ended up buying a pair of earrings! Pina was helpful in completing sales and paperwork for us. This is the only sales place I would consider returning to.
This place is a hidden gem! At least it was to me…I’m so happy that our taxi driver recommended it and took us here. I ended up buying a piece but not because I felt pressured to, but because it was simply wanted too. The staff was very kind, in particular Mr. Panya, who was very gracious and helpful! I look forward to going back.
Supreya and Nick took good care of us. They are very professional and helpful. Visiting the GEMS gallery in Bangkok is a must.
Never buy from here. Compare the price of the gem stones online ( with Tanishq, Caratlane, bluestone reputed brands from Indian business house TATA). Here they are selling for 5x premium. We bought a pendant and then while we compared the websites we are doomed. They offered to return the money but to the card. We didn’t want to take risks in foreign land what if we didn’t get the money credited back. So we chose to buy 18k gold jewellery for 23700 baht. But they sell it for piece rate and don’t disclose the weight. When we weighed on our return it was only 3.5 grams which translates only to 7833 baht.People kindly don’t buy from here analyze by yourself through the internet.
