  1. Went to Ratchawat & Sriyan Market ..looked like a very old school market ..very different kind food than the night markets I visited …not very big market but you can really feel the thailand..I got inside the local market in Ratchawat market …so many Spices ,sea foods ..u can see the base of Thai food here …I seriously have no idea what I had ..whatever looked good to me I had it.There is old lady at Sriyan market sells Thai biriyani .it was almost sold out when I went there (11:30 am).. Can’t say it was the best biriyani (I’m from India) …but it was different than what we usually have back home & it was good & she gave a sweet sauce it was too so good with biriyani…..If you take a walk from Sriyan to Ratchawat then you can feel the calm side Bangkok I guess ..no noice,no traffic …I recommend this to food lovers …You will love the smell when you get there …so many choices… had a Thai style milk tea totally refreshed me …try the dumplings & cold noodles …Best way to get there is taxi but you can BTS till victory monument & then walk ….& even victory monument has really great food local food ….so keep that in mind …don’t loose control …it’s a local food heaven….

  2. Street food, clothes, vegetables, groceries: the usual stuff you get at much bigger markets like Chatuchak. We tasted a few of the snacks, bought a top and tshirt for 100 baht each.Fruits and vegetables were fresh and cheap. Nice place to stroll into if you’re in the area.

  3. don’t go there! very small marke. Just, few buses go there. lost my morning waiting for only 14 bus route. Need walk out 15 minutes to take bus 50 (stopping mbk). There is nothing interesting. Not taken any photo
