  1. In order to review the Chitralada Palace is to review the place from only looking from the outside of the perimeter. From observation, the palace does not have the grandness of the Taj Mahal and it does not have the outstanding feature of the Buckingham Palace, but it looked like a scientific research ground of a university. The present King must have several on-going researches that were brought into the palace and still follow up with its progress. Majority of these researches are for the benefit of the Thai subject. By this observation, we should be proud of our King in his interest on the scientific researches and not on the beauty of his palace.

  2. Most people don’t get the chance of entering the palace grounds, but if you are fortunate enough to be granted entry (arranged through official request of a group or institution), you will see displays of the late King’s practical research and demonstrations of rural development initiatives (e.g., improved rice production, charcoal making, dairy, aquaculture, etc.) that formed the foundation for many of the Royal Projects that evolved around the country. Also a very interesting display of royal white elephants (no longer kept at the palace).

  3. I’m distraught to see many glorious mature trees being felled inside the palace.I always cherished the views of the Palace from outside,a sense of a wonderful nature oasis,a lovely area for people to stroll.Does anybody know why they are being felled?
