Peak Spa is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 187/13 Changklan Road , 50100, Thailand
This was a stones throw from our hotel and paid a walk in visit. We had to pay up front but the treatment we had was good and well worth the money. Good quality facilities and I would go again.
The worst spa we had in Chiang Mai. We were not asked to fill out a form on how much pressure we would like our massage to be, which area to be avoided or need special attention. We were not asked to pick oil. The body scrub product was so cold and I kept telling the therapist that I was very cold. Still, she just ignored me. The Ayurvedic head and body was supposed to use hot oil. Yet, only a little bit of hot oil was used on head and it was then mixed with something else that was cold. I was freezing during that 2 hrs. Moreover, even I told the therapist to be softer as she hurt me, she ignored me as well. It was the worst spa experience I have ever had.
My girlfriend and I have been in Chiang Mai for nearly 2 months now and tried different places, but we keep coming back to Peak Spa. We have had 5 different massages here so far, all for couples so we have had private rooms for the 2 of us with 2 masseuses. All rooms have been very nicely decorated, with subtle aromatherapy essences and relaxing music. We have just had the swedish massage and both ladies were great. It is clear that they are well trained. We have been to places where the massages were nice, but the masseuses talked amongst themselves throughout the treatment which I don’t find very relaxing.I’m happy to say, this has never happened at Peak Spa. They always give you a cold tea prior the massage and then a warm one with lovely Thai sweets afterwards. They can also pick you up and drop you off for free if you require transportation. Prices are not as cheap as many places you walk past on the street, but you are paying for professionals who know their trade and the ambiance. Having said that, many other places charge more than them and I don’t think they provide more. So if you are in Chiang Mai and fancy a pampering before enjoying some lovely dinner I highly recommend this spa.
10 minutes after requesting a booking (hoping for that day service), I received an email saying my appointment had been confirmed and a driver will be 20 minutes away. I knew from that moment it was going to be a good experience.I was picked up right in front of my hotel from Mr Yoyo who was so lovely and kind, opened the door for me.I was then warmly greeted at the spa entrance and offered a cold towel and tea to sip on while I waited for my appointment. 5 minutes later I was shown the way, greeted again by a lovely lady called Tam who showed me the nail colours to choose for my pedicure and manicure. She did an amazing job, and was so kindIt was so relaxing I fell asleep multiple times, then I was offered another tea, towel and some lollies. The front staff called Mr Yoyo and he transferred me back to my hotel, easy as that. Couldn’t have asked for a better spa day!
You pay more and get more. The service level is high. The place is tidy and inviting.Great experience!
Being in Thailand one of the greatest things you can do is get a couples massage for very cheap and next to our condo is this little spa 3 minutes walking. My wife and I like to do the Aromatherapy 2 hour massage and here in Chiang Mai it’s only $40 USD for both of us. There are other locations where it is cheaper but we like to actually go to the fancy spas and this location is one of those. My massage therapist was Pea and she was fantastic, I fell asleep actually so that’s usually when I know I was super relaxed. The location is very clean and modern with air conditioning and the therapist wear uniforms so reputable establishment.
Great massages by a skilled and kind staff in a wonderfully evocative environment. Beautifully decorated in traditional Lanna style. The difference between the many on-the-street type massage parlors and Peaks is like night and day. Moreover, the prices are exceedingly reasonable, being only 50 or 100 baht more than those along the street.
We stumbled upon this spa while walking and I’m so glad we did. We wanted a foot massage, and they took us in right away. I was impressed by the modern Thai decor. It was very neat, clean, and smelled amazing once you walk in. You are given cold tea to start and wow that was amazing! My masseuse, Lha was probably the best I’ve ever experienced. She was gentle and hit all the right pressure points. You can tell they were highly trained to massage the points on your body at just the right pressure. I am excited to come back for a full body massage, I can only imagine how wonderful that massage would me. Amazing!!!!
I really wanted a spa day. I choose for Peak spa because the brochure said they have a lot of options. Free transport, massage’s, jacuzzi, haircut, pedicure etc. So i made a reservationIt begon in my hostel where i tried to book the transport. This was “not available”When im at the place everything was “not available “ so i took a head shoulders back massage and left the place after 60 minutes?The 2 stars because the massage was really good
My husband and I plan to return to Chiang Mai to get another massage here! By far one of the best we have ever had! Highly recommended!
