  1. Quite simply if you’re in Khao Lak and you want to book a tour then look no further than The Green Biking Club. I booked the Surin island trip and the Rainforest trips and both were two of the most memorable ones I’ve ever had. Kitty who runs the operation is highly organised as well as a beautiful lady who is passionate about the environment and ensuring everyone enjoys themselves. The trips are run in small groups so it feels like you are in the company of good friends from the first minute.I cannot speak more highly of The Green Biking Club.

  2. We did the Andaman Delight full day trip which included cycling through a gorgeous national park complete with a spectacular, secluded beach, visiting the Sea Turtle Conservation Centre, swimming at the Lampi Waterfall as well as a tasty lunch along the way and much more.Kitty is a great, funny guide full of interesting information! She provided a very well-organised trip and ensured we were well-fed and hydrated at all times. She clearly also has a passion for animals and the environment. I would highly recommend this trip for something a little different and quite wonderful. Thanks for a great experience Kitty! The South Africans 😀

  3. First of all, I really appreciate that Kitty was able to book a trip for me on such a short notice – I called her in the evening and although there were no trips the next day, she booked me on a half day bike trip alone with my guide, Apen. The trip was breathtakingly beautiful, riding through the rubber tree and palm plantations, then in the wild jungle with lush vegetation and Apen showed me a lot of wild trees, insects, flowers – he has a really good eye for this! I saw a flylantern, a caterpillar with her eggs inside a rolled leaf, papaya and banana trees, cool spiders and lizards. We biked through the water, on some steep hills (not too many) and Apen was caring about me the whole way, asking me if I am ok, giving me water and offering to take photos of me 🙂 Then the waterfall was such an incredible sight, with sunrays coming down through the trees and it was sooooo refreshing to take a bath there after riding through the hot weather. And we were the only ones there and on the path! So secluded and unique! On the way back, Apen bought me an icecream and fried bananas and also gave me fresh bananas from the tree (you know, the ones that have seeds and flavour)! Although he couldn’t speak much english, he was able to transmit everything he wanted about the local wildlife and people. With so much beauty around me, I really didn’t feel the need for lengthy conversations. At the end, Apen gave me a cold beer and I enjoyed cooling off while playing with his cute dogs. If you love off the beaten tracks, book one with these guys! I hope to do another one with them! :)Thank you, Apen and Kitty!

  4. We did two tours with the Green Biking Club: Khao Sok Amazing Tropical Forest and Andaman Delight Biking Tour. We did the Khao Sok tour first and there were so many amazing parts to it. We were promptly picked up at 8am in a comfortable four wheel drive. Our tour only had three other people plus our guide. It felt like we did so much stuff on the day but we were never rushed and it was very chilled. We did the elephant bathing first, which was such a special experience. And we were the only ones there for quite a long time! Then we visited the monkeys at the Tiger temple. These little guys were very playful and cheeky, but not threatening at all like other monkeys at some other temples I’ve visited.Next we stopped off at a lagoon in Khao Sok national park where we enjoyed some sweet rice that had been encased in bamboo. My first time trying this and I loved it. Again we were the only ones at this lagoon, where it was so peaceful and full of wildlife noises.Lunch was tasty, traditional Thai food served in bamboo and rice wrapped in banana leaves. After lunch we enjoyed a leisurely trip down a peaceful river on bamboo rafts. We spotted a snake curled up in a tree and the guides made leaf wreathes for all the girls. We also got to keep our bamboo cups from the coffee we had on the riverbank. Finally we stopped off at a lookout to marvel at the prehistoric wonder of Khao Sok national park. Very long review but we did so many things, yet it all felt very relaxed. We didn’t have to deal with tourist crowds and we moved on from each area when we were ready, instead of keeping to a schedule. Kitty was our guide for this tour. As other reviews mention, she is fluent in English and German but is also funny and very knowledgeable. You can tell she cares about preserving the natural beauty of this part of Thailand. I will post my review of the other tour separately but very highly recommend The Green Biking Club!

  5. My family of two teenage boys, my husband and I happily stumbled into The Green Biking Club in Khao Lak. We were so lucky to meet Kitty who turned out to be our amazing, funny, knowledgable guide. We hired bikes and went off on a trip into the jungle with her – covering about 30 kms and learning about the importance and history of the the rubber and palm oil plantations. Fascinating and beautiful, the whole trip took us through quieter Thai villages past temples, through plantations and up into the jungle where we then trekked to a beautiful waterfall – where we were the only ones there. It was a lovely thing to do from our central base in Khao Lak as it gave us a great idea of the area and stopped us playing lazy tourists! Kids and adults both enjoyed ourselves which is down to Kitty, being a fit cyclist and an entertaining guide. Afterwards she gave us some great advice and local tips for the rest of our trip and I would thoroughly recommend a day or two with Kitty on a local bike tour.Thank you lovely lady!

  6. We rented Bikes from Kitty on 2 separate occasions. The bikes we 15 speed Giant and Wheeler . They were in excellent shape and vey well maintained. The rental cost was more than fair and we were very pleased with the bikes and helmets. Kitty was super accommodating, a pleasure to deal with!

  7. We booked a jungle hiking trip which was amazing. Kitty is very kind and has a great knowledge about the ecosystem and every plant living in it. We went to wonderful places free of tourists. I would recommend every tour there are great and you have a private tour which is also very nice. 🫶🏼

  8. Booked the half day jungle off road biking tour. If you are looking for something truly off the beaten path, challenging, and fun, this if for you! Kitty takes you through mountain trails and makes sure to check-in and adjust for the riders. She’s really knowledgeable about the area. The scenery is beautiful and we even saw an elephant! One note: Make sure to check-in about the equipment you will need so you are prepared.

  9. Very nice place, our host was so nice 👍.She proposes eco tour with free elephants, monkeys, jungle…Very nice beach to swim at 10 min by walk. We will be back as soon as we can !!!😁Thanks again Kitty for this wonderful stay 😍

  10. Bike hire was easy, convenient and at 200 baht for the day – great value. The bikes were fine (trek & giant). Great way to see some local areas (visited Coconut Beach, White Sands beach and Sai Rung waterfall). Easy cycling and some beautiful scenery – although very hot! They also had lots of guided bike tours which looked good too.
