Rakswarin Hot Springs is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking Highway 4005, Thailand
From Phuket it takes 6 hours to get to this place. Take the blue bus from Ranong bus station i paid 20 Bath. Stayed at Madinah Guesthouse that again blessed by exploring Ranong.Dumped my bag after freshen up a bit head over to the Hot spring by foot 5mins.I paid 40 baht for private pool dip entrance u get free water and towel.Very clean and well managed. They have public dip as well but crowded so 40Baht is nothing to get a hygienic dip
You can picnic and relax in the public hot springs for free. There is a building (gazebo) where you can lay on the floor which is heated by the thermal steam underneath. Recommend paid baths as they are cleaner and folks less likely to stare if you’re a woman alone in your bathing kit and to lock valuables. Worth a couple hours…
There are pools downstream that you can sit and soak your legs. There was also a seperate area that you could swim in a small pool but we didnt go. There is an admission fee in that section. Great river walk around the area.. We walked up on a rainy day and it was great.
Nice place, you can visit it for free, lots of restaurants nearby, some great Som Tam restaurants down by the river. Showers are availabe for free, get a massage while you’re there.
There is not much to this place. There is 3 small shallow pools ,2 feet deep, which are free. most Locals just put there feet in. water is 40 C (104 F). There are Local bathrooms for 5 baht. There is a small paid area “Tinadee Hot Springs” for 40 Baht (I did not go in this area) there is a nice cafe that was great for coffee and food and reasonably priced – a cappacini, sandwich and water were $105 BahtIt is along a river so can walk paths on both sides and there is a suspension bridge across the river to refreshment stands and sitting area in the shade.
Hot springs are great. We sat in the pool of hot water in the evening to relax and then got a wonderful foot massage and listened to Thai music and singing ? it was a wonderful experience ❤️Lori
Visited the hot springs on the outskirts of Ranong, Thailand. Water a very balmy 42 degrees Celsius and a choice of a cooler option. Nice to soak the weary muscles and joints in a very nice location.
Hi this is mainly closed for refurbishment, there is a small set of pools open for only 40 baht. A little disappointing but should be great when reopen
You must visit this place as stamp for your Ranong province.Surrounding area are under developed to make it more beautiful.I have been in this place over 20 years ago. This place is still popular for local people. You can take free foot hot spring. If not, you can pay 40 THB to private area (managed by Tinidee Hotel) as very near from foot hot spring.I went this place by hotel shuttle. By return after 6pm, there was no public transportation or taxi motorbike. I walked over 15 min to Ranong Hospital to take Taxi Motor Bike.Highly recommended.
