  1. A-One diving is simply the best scuba diving company in Ranong, Thailand. The owner is a very inspirational guy with a warm heart and open mind. He really believed in quality over quantity and took my wife and I under his wing.We booked on a liveaboard trip for 3 Nights and 4 days traveling south from Ranong to Koh Tachai, Mo Koh Surin, Koh Bon and Koh Similan; including Richelieu rock (top 10 diving spot in the world), and I can honestly say It was one of the best experiences of my life hoping from one stunning dive spot to another. The staff are very knowledgable about the national park area and extermely helpful, they were highly attentive throughout and really take care of all of their customers very well. Furthermore, the boat itself was supremely comfortable and accomodated just the right amount of people (i:e not overcrowded like many other diving companies can be), it more than met our expectations offering great food, drinks and service throughout our entire trip. Another bonus was we appeared to arrive first to almost all dives sites meaning no other dive groups from different boats were in the water at the same time as our small group of 5 divers. It really was a 5 star service and highly recommend this trip to anyone from beginners to experienced divers! It was an outstanding experience!

  2. Everything perfect except dive master leader. Lazy person, always sleeping. Briefing too short, without drawing. Not taking care of open water. Limit dangerous.. This guy better stop doing this job.The rest was perfect.

  3. I am a master scuba diver and have gone diving on many live-aboards. From the moment we were picked up from our hotel in Ranong to the moment we were dropped back there seven days later, the experience was AMAZING! The lady at the dive shop was incredibly helpful making sure we were all set with the papers for the visa to Myanmar. She made the process painless and simple. We brought our own equipment so did not rent but the other divers did rent and the equipment worked well for them with no complaints or issues. There were only five divers on the boat which was great with lots of room to spread out. Three of us dove with Billy who was a very experienced and safe dive master. He usually led the dive briefings which were good. He is a conservative diver with an emphasis on safety and not pushing the limits. He also went at a good pace so you never felt rushed at a site. He really knows his stuff! Also, my husband had a buoyancy issue one dive and Billy was right there to assist him. The same when the lady we were diving with had ear issues. He was excellent at leading the dives and keeping all divers together, safe, and seeing amazing things! The crew on the boat were also exceptional. Captain Jack was very friendly, always had a huge grin, and always positioned us perfectly for each dive. He and the dive master seemed to know just how to shelter us from the current and ensure we descended right at the beginning of the dive site. He also has a cat that is the friendliest feline I’ve met!The chef on board cooked delicious meals. Unfortunately, my husband had caught a bug before boarding the ship so he was sick for the first two days. The chef made him separate meals that were plain and was always making room calls to see if he needed anything while we were on dives. The extra care she took was truly exceptional. The crew on the dive deck were very attentive. They were right there to assist with everything. The tanks were always perfectly filled and they were there helping you even before you knew you needed them. Whether it was helping with the shoulder straps on the BCD or grabbing your fins, they were so helpful and pleasant. My experience on the ship and with this company was wonderful. I really had a great week and cannot thank this team enough for that.

  4. I did the 5d/4n trip to Koh Bon/Koh Tachai/similan islands/Richelieu rock on the boat Sea World 1 and it was a great experience! The service from the crew was truly exceptional (I’ve been in luxury diving trips where the service was not as good), they were SUPER attentive, helpful and smiling; we didn’t have to worry about anything before and after diving, they took care of EVERYTHING with such kindness. A truly stellar team! The food was great and plentiful as well and the atmosphere on board very chill. The diving was great too — even though 1 or 2 more dives in Richelieu would have been amazing 🙂 I would def dive with these guys again!

  5. Recently finished a Myanmar dive trip with A-One Diving on the Seaworld 1, and very much so enjoyed the entire trip. Sure, the rooms are basic and the beds a bit hard, but those things are not a big deal to me. I still managed to sleep like a rock. More importantly to me, the AC was really cold, and the shower and dining area were always kept clean. The crew on board are just super, one and all. Always smiling, always there to help. The food was really tasty (thanks again for my B-Day cake…..not easy to make at sea I bet!), and the dive staff exceptional. Thanks go out to dive instructor Billy of the soon to be famous “Billy’s Best Coffee Beans”, as well as to Ben the dive master. Killer dives one and all. Thank you. Also, special thanks to owner Ben who happened to be on board and is a gracious host…..Ben, I only wish I had seen the big shark at Black Rock!Hope to see you guys in the future. Richard B

  6. Very much enjoyed diving Myanmar over New Year’s. The upgraded boat with jacuzzi was an unexpected treat. Meals were amazing. Dives, well planned.

  7. Booked a liveaboard on the Sea World 1 with A One Divers. However the boat was changed, to a much more luxurious vessel. This was nice, however we only found out on the day itself and were not informed at all. We carefully selected a boat with max 18 guest, as we had 2 inexperienced divers in the group we hoped for a bit more attention. Also hoping to have fewer divers at the sites we were going to. Unfortunately, the change of vessel also meant we were now with 26 divers.Upon arrival at the dive shop we found that none of the gear was available in the right size (which we pre booked and informed them about our sizes more than a month ahead). Wetsuits and BCDs were old, poor condition, even given shorties with a water temperature of 22-23 degrees. Ended up with fins 2 sizes too big and was told to just wear socks. Once on board there was no word of welcome, no explanation as to why we were on a different boat, no information on the itinerary. When we asked the DMs did not have any idea about the itinery. Briefings did not include any info on safety instructions. Basically total lack of communication. One of the DMs, with a group of less experienced divers, seemed to be more busy with taking pictures. Which twice resulted in ‘loosing’ a diver, who went to the surface and had to end the dive. The DM took no action and just went on with the dive. Overall, the dive sites were really nice but the experience with A One Divers wasn’t.

  8. Booked the trip to Similan, Thailand. Such an amazing trip, good boat, nice people, great environment. we saw a lot big fish likes whaleshark and guitar shark

  9. I chose A-One MV Sea World 1 because it was budget friendly and fit together with a flight schedule well and was very pleasantly surprised! Patt was so easy to communicate with as this was my first live aboard and I had a million questions. He assured me that for female solo divers, they would only bunk me with another female, which was super considerate and made me feel very safe! For the money I spent, the boat was clean and recently updated, the food was delicious, the crew was super friendly and took care of all my diving equipment so I didn’t have to! I also took the PADI Advanced Open Water course on board with dive master Billy and had a lot of fun leveling up my dive skills. The itinerary to the Similans and Richelieu Rock was amazing of course with a mind boggling about of life, big and small! We didn’t get whale sharks but we did sight dolphins, manta and other rays, huge schools of fish, turtles, cuttlefish, reef and guitar sharks, and more!I would absolutely recommend this company and boat to anyone not looking to spend too much money but wanting a great time with awesome people and fantastic diving!

  10. Thank you so much for this great experience!Boat staff and dive masters are amazing!Food was so good, 👏Special thanks to our dive guide Mik!Dive sites are really beautiful and full of fishes!See you 🥰😍
