The owners of Universal Tailor, Chiang Mai went out of their way to make our experience easy. They picked us up and dropped us off. They offered us a beer while in their shop – which was great after all the site seeing we had done.The tailoring was gorgeously done to perfection. I now have several blazers for both working with clients and for fancy parties.They reliably mailed our garments overseas.I confidently recommend this shop for an amazing custom tailoring experience.
We visited CM Universal Tailor after it was recommended to us by a few locals. I’d originally planned to wait until I got to Phuket to get a tailored suit, but as soon as I walked through the door at Universal Tailor I knew this was the right place. The owner was incredibly professional and attentive, providing refreshments while we browsed the catalogues and made sure he understand our requirements before recommending fabrics. I bought two suits and two shirts, all perfectly tailored to my liking over multiple fittings. The owner’s experience really shone through, and the warmth and friendliness of his staff made the experience all the more enjoyable. The price is a little higher than in Phuket or Bangkok, but the service, quality and overall experience you’ll get at Universal Tailors is well worth it. CM Universal Tailors provided me with an unforgettable and truly attentive service. Mr.Ram and his sales team gave me incredible customer service and top notch talent while creating a custom suit from scratch. I was only in town for 2 days and they accommodated all of my needs and tight schedule.I just left his shop this afternoon for a second fitting and tonight I arrived to the final product hand delivered to my hotel. I had a suit made in just two days. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. This shop is highly recommended. I would definitely come back again.
Please go to them if you want to spend more money to have an experience. They do a fitting which is nice. But they charge 2x more than other tailors and kind of forced and rush you into decisions. I would like to give 1 star but they were kind. Of course that was after they double charged us.
