  1. My friends and I did a 3 days trekking in the Doi Inthanon National park, spending the nights in Karen villages. Our guide, Mr Lucky, was extremely prepared, kind and respectuf of nature. On the way he showed us all the secrets of the jungle and prepared for us amazing meals throughout the trip. The night stays were essential, but with everything we needed. We walked through rice fields, hills and stopped bathing every day at a waterfall. I would recommend to bring good shoes, mosquito repellent and long pants. Water can be easily bought on the way. Compared to other options that we evaluated this was definitely very convenient considering the duration and everything that was included in the deal. I would definitely recommend this experience when in the Chiang Mai area

  2. I did the one day jungle trek with Wat and one/two other guides. I only really interacted with Wat but he was a pleasant man! He was keen to learn about my culture/life, as I was to his. As we walked this hike, he spoke about the Karen villages, their history, and his life.As for the hike itself: a hiking/bamboo stick, 2x bottles of water, and lunch was provided. I went during rainy season so it was a struggle at times but it was an enjoyable day of trekking. We went up and down hills, over big rocks, over fallen trees, went through rice paddies, saw an elephant sanctuary, Karen villages, streams, and waterfalls (there’s probably more that I’ve forgotten). There was even a dog that followed us for the 2nd half of the trek.Tip: If it’s been raining or will be raining, bring sandals with good grip or at least trainers you don’t mind getting muddy or soaked!

  3. Me and my girlfriend went on a 2 day jungle trekking. Our lovely guides were Lucky and Da. This is a must do activity if you are visiting Chiang Mai for a couple of days!! Lucky was such a friendly and funny tour guide and he has so much knowledge about the animals and plants in the jungle. After hiking couple of hours we arrived at a stunning bungalow where we stayed the night with our group, eating great food and playing games.Thank you for everyone who made this trip an amazing experience!

  4. Candy was fantastic and made us feel welcome, was always finding amazing surprises and full of fun facts, history and how to find interesting creatures in the jungle.I did the 3 day, 2 night trek. A few people were doing the 2 day 1 night but after the first day, loved it so much they signed up for the full 3 days. All the food is expertly prepared by Candy (brilliant cook).Food portions are generous, and plenty of rest stops for those less experienced in hiking. The hikes are challenging but reasonable and well paced. Each day we did 9-12km, 200-500m elevation gain. First day was hot, so we took our time. Second day it rained, which was superb as you smell the freshness on the jungle.Everyone on the hike said that it was the best experience they have had in Thailand.

  5. Beyond incredible. The highlight of our Thailand trip! The brothers knowledge and expertise is unparalleled. The overall experience was so fulfilling and rewarding and so so so so enjoyable. The food was incredible and plentiful. The accommodation was stunning. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

  6. Our trip (M1) included a visit to Doi Inthanon, Royal Pagoda and a 4-hours trek through jungles hillsides and rice fields. We had a great experience from start to finish. Both our guide and driver had good command of English and helped with any questions and recommended food options in the morning (stopover at a service station not included) and lunch (included in the tour). They answered questions re nature, Thai culture and life in the hillsides. Since both grew up (and one still lives) in a hill tribe village, the conversations created a sense of hanging out with locals who enjoy sharing their experience of nature with travellers. The tour thus never provided the feel of a checklist sightseeing tour rushing by car/van from one spot to the other. The trek – 4 hours – was not difficult but not easy either. One should have good physical condition and be sure footed. Appreciation for nature and crawling creatures should also helps since the trek leads through dense forest paths. At the end of the trek, we enjoyed great views on hillside villages, rice fields and distant mountains covered with lush greenery. The final stop was a waterfall with a pond in which one can swim. Overall: highly recommend going with this operator if you wish to hike through the jungle and access villages that are quite remote.

  7. We spent 2 days trekking through the jungle with crazy cliffs, planks over rivers and bridges. We reached a couple waterfalls, as well as met and had fun with elephants – and we had an insane time with the locals on a bamboo raft! Spending a night in a cabin in the mountains of the jungle sleeping on the floor with the ants was also an experience on its own, drinking lots of rice whiskey and cooking with the villagers for our group. What a crazy special experience for the both of us.

  8. The best trekking in Chiang Mai It is a new experience of adventure travel. Thank you for this trip. See you again next time.

  9. I did a two day trekking in the Doi Inthanon region. The trekking was amazing. Not only because the location was beautiful but also because our two guides Kong and Pong (?) were very knowledgeable and teached us a lot about the region, the plants, wildlife and life of the Karen people. I was very impressed how good these to young guides took care for the participants and the respect they have for nature. It was the best trekking I did whilst being in Thailand so far and I therefore highly recommend it!

  10. Can’t speak highly enough of the experience and care we received. I say we but I joined the trip alone (3 days) and met some great folk. The walking is for those who are happy on uneven ground. There are big step ups and down so be ready for that. There are some water crossings on wooden log bridges. Safe but rustic. For me it was perfect! Loved it all. The guides were first rate, showing us plant life and animals alike. They know a lot. It was good to learn about the Karen people. The 2 lodges were fabulous. Beds are hard but that’s fine with me and I was glad to have a sleeping bag liner because I feel the cold. They provide a blanket but it’s not thick, really not. There are cold water showers at both places. I needed a taxi when dropped off and they helped again. First class service. Highly recommend.

  11. I had an amazing experience in my 3 days trekking. The agency is really reliable, guides were nice and from the local village we visited. Food was local and very healthy and I also loved the accomodation in local huts!Absolutely recommended.
