Really enjoyed my afternoon cooking class! We learnt how to make 5 different Thai dishes completely from scratch so it was incredible to see exactly where the flavours come from in the pastes etc. I also chose this school as they catered completely to dietary requirements/vegetarianism/veganism so I felt like I could make pretty authentic dishes which I was able to eat but you could also enjoy the class alongside meat eating friends 🙂 really good value and the family that run it are very very lovely
The host was simply amazing, rellly kind caring and knowledgeable. We were brought into his family home and taught great ways of Thai cooking. 10/10 if you need to do anything in Chang Mai it’s this class, could not recommend enough.
Fantastic experience. The chef/instructor went above and beyond in hospitality, service, and personality. He picked us from our hotel, gave us a market tour where we picked fresh ingredients (he made all the purchases), we cooked in his place and ate in the cozy kitchen, then he took taxi for us to go back to hotel. He welcomed us with smiles and provided cold bottled water and snacks throughout the experience. We cooked and ate 5 different things: stir fry noodles, soup, main meal, salad or spring role (appetizer), & desert .Food was delicious, tasty, and fresh, and the experience was truly memorable. He watches you and instructs as you cook and guides you step-by-step. We were really full by the time we were leaving. Thank you for a wonderful cooking experience in chiang mai.We booked through airbnb experience, but you can also book directly with the organizer through their website so they get 100% of the pay because they deserve it.
Our cooking class with Aek was the best experience we’ve had in Thailand so far! Aek and his team are informative, passionate about what they do and a really fun bunch! One of our group doesn’t cook ever and was a bit apprehensive to sign up and by the end of the day was a Masterchef in Thai cuisine! We all can’t wait to recreate our delicious masterpieces for our loved ones!The day started at a market, where Aek introduced us to different herbs and produce that we would cook with. Once our market baskets were full, off we went to the kitchen, where we chopped, laughed, cooked and ate! We made five courses and each one was even more delicious that the last! We left full of delicious food, cultural knowledge and beautiful memories!ขอบคุณ Aek and team!
My partner and I loved this cooking class. They were able to accommodate me as a vegan and I was able to eat the same meals as everyone else in the class. The chef that taught the class brought a lot of fun and energy. I would highly recommend this.

Excellent cooking class. Small group with personal feel. Fun and engaging. Lots of different dishes. Just a really lovely morning. Great market visit which didn’t feel intrusive to the locals at all. For a small family activity I would absolutely recommend for people looking for a small personal class. Excellent home kitchen setup with individual cooking stations and prep area. We did a lot of research and were really happy with our choice. Definitely recommended.
