Trip of a lifetime with world class riding and top notch tour experience. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Thailand Moto Tours (TMT). They make the riding as safe possible and not once was I worried about my safety. The places we stopped and the day excursions we did were the best in Thailand. Trust me you will want to do this tour. The whole TMT crew are wonderful people who truley care about your experience with the tour and treat you like family. I Definitely plan on doing another tour with them.
I truly cannot put into words how amazing this trip was. Epic and life changing are the descriptors that come to mind. I tell everyone that each day with Thailand Moto Tours felt like a week between the riding, the experiences and activities, and the friend time. If that sounds hectic, it somehow isn’t. The TMT crew really has this thing perfectly dialed in. We never felt rushed or pressured, in fact we were surprised how relaxed we felt the entire week. Now about the riding; If you’re looking into this tour you’re probably wondering about that element! I’ve ridden a lot of bikes on some great roads and racetracks but the Mae Hong Son loop ranks right up there with the best. I was shocked how well the roads are maintained. We saw only a few sections of rough road or slick pavement but the crew advised us well ahead of time and the lead bike kept us at a safe speed. Speaking of pace, I would say we rode a comfortable yet fun cadence all week. My wife was 2-up with me and she’s not big on speed or motorcycles in general, but even when we were up front she was generally fine. Haha… One day we elected to take it slow and hang in back, and we never had to worry about getting separated. There are always guides with radios staying back for slower riders. Break stops are perfectly timed at coffee shops, overlooks and other points of interest. I do recommend springing for the CB500X over the 300s as the power, comfort and trunk box will all make your riding experience more enjoyable.Once off the bike each day, accomodations and food were always the best available. Your room keys are waiting for you, bags in the room and beer on ice! When they say trip of a life time, they aren’t kidding! What a mix of culture and riding. Every day was filled with beautiful roads, delicious food and little adventure stops. As a female solo rider I always felt safe and comfortable riding my own ride. Honestly, the best trip and great way to experience Thailand for the first time! I can’t stop reminiscing already and I just got home, still dreaming about all the twisty roads. The Thai guides, Brian, Amy & Brandon really have the trip dialed in from gas station stops to drink breaks and the whole trip run smoothly. Thank you for an awesome experience!!!
Trip of a lifetime! Totally pampered the whole time! Great people, great food, and great experiences! Every day I didn’t think could be topped and then I would be completely amazed by the next day! Brian, Brandon, and Amy and all their crew (shoutout to Nikki and Birdie) are amazing! By the end of the trip we felt like we were saying goodbye to family! Wish we were going back for 2025!

I came into the tour expecting a nice experience but the experience exceeded anything I had expected. Elephant experience with just our group. River boats. Huge cave exploration. Food always good. Everything included in the price. Expert riders and guides. I’m coming back with more people. Nothing trashy or touristy. We went deep into the rural villages and got a locals tour. Fantastic.
This was the trip of a lifetime! In my opinion Thailand Moto Tours is a MUST DO on any motorcycle rider’s bucket list! The mountain roads you ride on this tour are epic. Some of the most exciting, challenging and beautiful in the world.Brian, Brandon and Amy who run it are the best! Brandon and Brian are top notch motorcycle riders. Very competent, friendly and wonderful all around. Amy is the sweetest and together they take care of all the details. The local Thai guides on the team are like guardian angels on the road—looking out for safety and full of local knowledge, with answers to any questions about their beautiful country.Brandon and Brian have spent years riding the roads here and it shows. They have mapped out a tour where you see parts of Northern Thailand that tourists just don’t get to see. All kinds of roads, through rural villages, to the highest mountain in Thailand, the natural beauty of the surroundings is overwhelming. They have picked the best places to stop, for views, culture and most of all very yummy food. I ate so much tasty, fresh food on this trip, I am immediately hitting the gym when I get home!We saw so many animals—cows, water buffalo, not to mention a million friendly dogs and cats! As part of the tour we got to visit elephants, feed and bathe them in the river. This was such an incredible experience, one I will never forget!Another fantastic part of this trip was meeting fellow adventuring strangers and forming wonderful connections and friendships!I could go on and on but I really can’t recommend this enough! Whether you go as a rider or as a companion enjoying the views from the pillion (passenger seat) on your other half’s motorcycle you will love it!
