The experience was great, you just come with helmet and PPE and forgot about any thing else the guys will take care of everything from hotel to the smallest details like filing motorcycles. Thank you to all great guys specially Keven and paper.

There’s only one reason why it has taken me sooo long to write a review about my 6 day Golden Triangle motorcycle tour I joined at the end of Jan/beginning Feb 2024: It’s because no words will ever be fit enough to describe the absolutely incredible, most beautiful and indescribable superb experience I had with DART Asia. I still don’t know where to start and apologize in advance for this review probably going all over the place as I write.In some way I almost regret taking the tour, since I was always perfectly happy living in Europe and being able to ride on the beautiful roads of Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria etc. But northern Thailand has completely outmatched these places in every way possible:- The people are the kindest, most attentive and respectful, safest and most patient fellow road users you’ll ever come across. We were told that all Thai people there are motorbike/scooter rider first, so I think that says enough :).- The roads and road conditions are level divine. I have never seen roads like these, perfect mountain passes with perfect turns (not too tight like the Stelvio pass in Italy) with the smoothest road surface, well-maintained and clean, just an absolute pleasure to ride. The most dangerous thing you might come across on the rides is a dog crossing the street.- The thing we all dream about: No speed controls, no police bullying bikers aka ultimate freedom! I had so much fun riding around with bright flashing lights and lovely Termignoni’s :D! The best feeling ever not to have to worry about speed cameras, loud exhausts and tickets! Not an invitation to behave like absolute maniacs, but respectful, somewhat modest maniacs will be absolutely fine ;). – The breathtaking nature and views all along the way. Anywhere you look is postcard worthy, unbelievably stunning and humbling to be surrounded by nature like this on the rides.- The safety in general and road facilities are excellent. We never had to take the bike keys/ gear off the bikes, no matter where we parked (whether a popular tourist sight or a large and busy gas station). It will still be there when you return. Absolutely unthinkable in most part of ‘The West’! – The FOOD! As if these weren’t enough reasons to get your .ss over to Thailand asap , the DART Asia team has exceeded every expectation you might have had of an organized motorcycle tour. The hotels were absolutely top notch, comfy, luxurious, bikes in pristine condition.We were in such good and professional hands of the awesome guides and great riders Kevin and Pepper who felt exactly how fast/slow they needed to ride to accommodate the group. They did an awesome job showing us the best roads on a perfect pace while keeping an eye on every single one of us. Then there’s Mike, the one who added at least 2 extra stars to the already 5 star experience. He’s made the whole experience extra ultra special, just by being the awesome human being that he is. He personally made sure everyone in the group was ok, riding/eating/anything. I really loved how he’d share his jokes and knowledge and his wonderful and respectful attitude towards the country, culture and its people was truly a great credit to him. He’s the kind of man you wish you had as a father/uncle/friend and I’m very happy to have met. I felt super spoiled like a super exclusive VIP every single day with everything taken care of for you: as soon as you stop, someone rushes over with a bottle of cooled water or to assist you with parking the bike. The most phenomenal photographs were taken and shared daily (Thanks Koko, June &co). Every day, the bike gets a wash and even a quick check/maintenance (thanks to David, he’s absolutely amazing!). I really adored how they parked the washed bike right outside our beautiful accommodation one night. Heck, they even refuel the bike for you as you’re stuffing yourself with the most delicious Thai foods. To top that, they even came to pick up the dirty laundry, if you had any. An immensely huge thanks for the whole team, I wish I could take you all home with me :’)! I have not written so much since uni XD, sorry it’s so long, but I guess the message is clear: GO JOIN A DART ASIA TOUR, it’s sooooo worth it! It has filled my heart with happy memories, my life with lovely new biker friends and I can’t wait to go again!
I recently took the 6 day Golden Triangle motorcycle tour with DART Asia tours out of Chiang Mai, Thailand. There were 5 total riders, of which 3 were customers, including me, 2 DART employees (their co-owner and one of his Thai staff), and another DART Thai employee driving the support van. Overall it was a great trip, with nice accommodation each evening, good food, and a good, cordial group. The DART employee rider was also the group photographer, and used a drone as well for some cool aerial videos! They took us on some of the best motorcycling roads in all of Thailand, and the bikes we used were in excellent condition. This time of year there was quite a bit of haze/smoke in some areas due to agricultural burning, but in spite of that, a fine trip, with several spots of interest we stopped at along the route. I highly recommend DART Asia tours!
Great four night tour of Northern Thailand.Mike as our ride guide did an excellent job keeping the group at pace. June provided excellent photo and video coverage of our ride. Koko took care of our hotel and food requirements on the go! Great team to lead you in a DART experience!
