My tour of Ayutthaya was an unforgettable experience that beautifully combined history, culture, and stunning architecture.The day started with a visit to the Bang PaIn Summer Palace, where the serene gardens and intricate Thai-European styled buildings were a peaceful contrast to the ancient ruins we would explore later. The Summer Palace was a highlight, with its picturesque surroundings and elegant design-perfect for photos!In Ayutthaya, the ancient temples and ruins were awe-inspiring. Wat Phra Si Sanphet, with its iconic towering stupas, and Wat Mahathat, where the famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots is located, were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Ms. Nicky, was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing stories about the glory of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and giving us insights into the significance of each site.As a solo traveler, I appreciated how helpful she was in capturing photos, especially at the must-see spots. The tour was well-paced, giving us time to take in the historical atmosphere without feeling rushed. The local lunch was a tasty bonus, letting us sample the unique flavors of Ayutthaya.If you’re visiting Bangkok, this tour to Ayutthaya and the Summer Palace is a must-do for anyone interested in history and culture.
