  1. I went on a there day hike – two days walking and one day rafting – and it was an amazing experience! Saw the jungle up close in a way I’ve never seen it before, witnessed amazing views and learned so much about the people living in northern Thailand. Every day, we were led by our wonderful local guide Jako who – aside from being funny, entertaining and a great guide – cooked us really great meals and made sure we got safely to the other side, even when the rain was pouring and the path got a bit slippery and difficult.

  2. We had a great experience with this company. The family who run the business are so kind and accomodating and really put the effort in to ensure that we were able to go on the trek that we wanted. John, our tour guide, was really great as well; He was both very knowledgeable and a nice happy presence throughout the day. I would recommend trek number 1!

  3. We rented a moped from here, it was convenient and fairly priced. The moped was brand new and performed great. The staff were friendly and the whole experience went smoothly.

  4. Great rafting adventure! We were with two rafts in the jungle. Not touristy, no other tourist operators. The rapids were big fun.Our first guide spoke English very well, the second guide did not. Great staff!!We also loved the swimming, the hot springs and the cliff jumping. The only minus point of the trip was that the driver forgot to bring the GoPro. But our first guide took some photos with his camera.

  5. Unfortunately we didn’t have a pleasant experience with this company. This is what happened in detail. Before going to Pai I checked online for hiking trips and found their 2 days trekking experience. We liked it and decided to book it.I wrote a email to them asking for availability but nobody ever replied. After 1 week I went back to the website and looked for a phone number. I found it and messaged on WhatsApp. I received no reply to that either even if I could see that they had received and read the message. After 3 days I decided to call and finally managed to speak to someone. He identified himself as the owner of the company. We talked over the phone and I told him about our interest in taking part to the hiking trip. He told me that it was all good and the only thing we had to do is going to the office in Pai to pay for the trip. I even sent him the recap of the dates we were requesting to double check that the tour was confirmed. When I asked him, once again, to get a final confirmation because we had to book the accommodation for after the trip, I received no answer. I guessed, at that point, that the tour was confirmed since he had said so.Yesterday in the evening we went to the office in Pai to pay for the trip, as requested by the owner. When we got there the lady that was at the counter told us that there was no trip organized for the days we had requested and that it wasn’t possible to make it because it’s just 2 of us when they need at least 3.This was pretty disappointing because we had organized our activities and accommodations around it and now they were telling us that the trip wasn’t confirmed at all. The owner, apparently, didn’t do anything of what he had said to me through messages and calls. Also, on the websites it says that they need a minimum of 2 people to organize the trip but when we went there they said they needed minimum 3…On top of this disappointment, the lady that was at the counter was extremely unhelpful and rude and had us stand up and walk out of the office. She is clearly not trained in customer service. When people are complaining (because they have the right to do so) you simply cannot raise your flat hand in their face and say “stop”. Shutting people is not the way to deal with unsatisfied customers. After we left the office I sent a voice message to the owner to explain to him what had happened. The only thing he did was to put a “thumbs up” reaction to my voice message.I would have expected some apologies but apparently he preferred just keeping being the bad communicator he had been until then. One of the worst customer service ever received.Don’t go with these guys.

  6. We did treks 2 and 3, since trek 1 wasn’t available. Our tour guide was great and lovely, however the treks themselves weren’t too special. Despite seeing some slightly cool sites such as a cave and a waterfall, we weren’t able to go into the cave. We also didn’t see much scenery (admittedly I was warned of that before going on the tour). In other words, the treks we did were a little underwhelming. Additionally, our driver ran over someone’s dog on a main road and kept on driving. The poor dog yelled out and his dog companion checked to see if it was ok. The driver didn’t stop or care at all. The driver pulled over after I asked him to and I told him what he’d done. He responded with ‘i didn’t see it until it was too late’. I don’t believe this is true, since the road was wide, sunlit and the dog seemed very visible. There was also no indication of him slowing down when approaching the dog. (It was safe for him to slow down).I asked if we could turn around and see if it was ok, however he said no ‘we have to get back to pai’. The driver didn’t care at all about the animal’s welfare or my feelings. I told the reception about the incident, and he drove off quickly after saying that he hit the dog. One of the receptionists cared, the woman receptionist didn’t seem to care. Overall, the experience was ok but slightly underwhelming, poor organising by the company, and very disappointing attitudes of some of the staff (mainly the driver). If you do this trek I’d advise including trek 1 on the itinerary, since it has scenery included.
