  1. One of thousands temples in north-west of Thailand. Historical place. Nice views around. Can be a part of a tour around Pai city.

  2. For all visitors, the Walking Street of Pai is a must attraction. Therefore a brief stop at Wat Klang will add a unique experience for your afternoon walk. Wat Klang is a compact temple and to photograph it well is not easy. However taking the walking street as part of the scene can improve the overall look of the photo. The added photo was the best taken and hope it will encourage a stop at this famous temple.

  3. Wat Klang is located in Pai’s Walking Street about 50 metres from the bus station … a small but very nice temple with a golden chedi … in a building out the back there is housed a reclining Buddha and a sitting Buddha both carved from wood … it is certainly worth a visit one time when you walk or drive past it down Walking Street

  4. Pretty standard stuff here. The same sights as you will see in countless wats around Thailand. Monks being monks, mainly hanging out. A few demons and stupas. It was cool to sit by the adjoining lagoon. The working/kitchen hall was a good slice of monastic life. Nice place, but absolutely nothing special or new here.

  5. It is one of the most significant temples in Pai as it houses very ancient and venerated Buddha statues. The most striking aspect of the temple is the golden Mon (Burmese) pagoda which houses and protects these statues.

  6. It can be easily reached as it is right on the main street. It’s nothing special after seeing the Chang Mai ones, but it has a different style.
