  1. This place is honest. They talk about the elephants history. And let’s face it… we all know how they get broke. We started off by walking through the sad and beautiful past of these Elephants, which allows you to feel connected with them. We are shown the lifestyle they life today in a environment where loving friends and family get to spend quality time with these animals. We made medicine for their skin from natural plants. And messaged them. The elephants are very friendly and responsive. They all want the attention. We fed them so much food a learnt about there weight and daily food consumption. THIS IS NOT A RIDING TOUR! ?? For anyone wanting to spend time with the elephant but knows about animal abuse in elephants and feels guilty this is place for you! Not only is the environment amazing but Pang Pang our guide was the coolest human I had ever met. Beautiful energy, amazing friend to the elephants and phenomenal cook. I can wait to go back and visit.

  2. A fantastic afternoon with the elephants! Feeding them, massage them, swimming with them and finally showering them! This day will never be forgotten!

  3. Amazing time! All the elephants were rescued from carrying people on seats. We fed the elephants. Gave them a mud bath. And washed them after. The food was good and the staff were are all really friendly.

  4. If you wanna spend about 3 hours with elephants recovered from “slavery” it is really worth it. You will prepare food for them, feed them, bath and after all you will learn how to prepare real Pad Thai the eat it. Highly recommend as few other elephants waiting for recovery so by buying the ticket you donating owner and helping to recover them.

  5. We (a family of 4) enjoyed the 30+ minutes elephant feeding very much. It’s just a 10 minutes drive from Bangtao Beach away. It’s a retirement park and the elephants are treated respectfully, no riding e. g. and that’s good. It was a great experience being so close to these beautiful animals. We were offered a lot of drinking water. Online booking was easy and worked fine. We definitely recommend this activity. Khop Khun Khrap to the team from 9 Dee Elephants.

  6. THIS IS NOT A SANCTUARY – JUST ANOTHER ELEPHANT ENTERTAINMENT PARK! Unfort the animals here are not treated very well. they all have ropes around their necks for controlling and I first hand saw one mahout abuse the baby several times: grabbing and squeezing her ear which is very painful for them, and when we were bathing, I saw him hold her trunk under the water so she couldn’t breath, then lift up so it sprayed everyone with water, like it was fun. This would be equivalent to holding a 2 year old’s head under water “for fun”.The main guide also started the tour off by saying “make sure we give them five star reviews”, before the tour even started, like that is the most important thing for them. She also said the youngest baby elephant was taken from her mother at 2 years old to “learn independence”. Female elephants stay with their herd FOR LIFE! This is Also equivalent to taking a 2 year old human baby from their parents, never for them to see each other again. The elephants are not free-roaming like they should be at a “sanctuary”, basically they spend their whole day in the holding pens, waiting for the next tour, they are then fed, then marched to the pond to bath, then back again to the holding pen. This is their life, several times a day, every. single. day. JUST HORRENDOUS. PLs don’t support this place. Its a tough review to write because of the poss consequences to the elephants, but awareness must be raised. I do hope a better future for these beautiful creatures, and all the elephants out there living their life as entertainment to humans.

  7. Fantastic day for anyone. Great experience interacting with these rescued elephants. Excellent pad Thai food after also. The staff were fun and clearly cared a lot about the elephants. Would 100% go again and recommend. Lovely to see the little baby Adele running about like a little toddler would being mischievous ?. A special experience since these now have a better life too

  8. Amazing day where we learned more about the elephants and interacted with visible very happy elephants. It’s a great place to learn about how elephants should be treated when they can’t take care of themselves. The guide Pang Pang is full of joy and you can’t help but leave the place full of smiles…

  9. Loved it from start till end, Pang Pang is so funny and professial tour guide, really good craic! Lunch was tasty, and the elephants are amazing, just so happy and well kept, words can’t describe the whole experience, do not hesitate to do it when nearby! Thanks guys!!!!

  10. Great afternoon at this lovely sanctuary for elephants. We got to feed them, wash them in the mud and scrub it off.Pang Pang was a great host (very funny) and made you really welcome.Food was good as well.Would recommend this to any body that visits Phuket.P.S where do you find and download the photos that were taken?
