  1. It’s a open air gallery. A numbers of old big gun display nearby the ministry of defence Bangkok building. Take a look before/ after visiting the grand palace

  2. This open air museum is located on the grounds of the old yellow and green building of the Ministry of Defence. There are 40 old cannons on display here. You can see old cannons from late Ayutthaya period. Some canons are French. Each of them have detailed explanations written next to them. It is a very amazing place for those who are interested in armaments. Above all the entrance is free.

  3. The Ministry of Defence building with the “garden” of canons out the front makes for an impressive display. Easily observed as you are wandering around the Grand Palace area.

  4. We saw the yellow and white buildings of the Ministry of Defence and walked around here looking at all the impressive old cannons on the front lawn. They were originally bronze cannons that weathered green (verdigris) with painted red bases. The grounds were very nice and well maintained.
