  1. The royal complex is an ensemble of different buildings, palaces, kioks and temples. The architecture, the design, the luxury it s a plce to see.

  2. Great place, every thing is attention to detail and well worth a visit to see. A wonder to see. must visit

  3. After just coming from Wat Pho it felt very much the same but slightly grander. The crowds were enormous and this made it hard to get into both physically & mentally.Having shorts & singlets on we had to shell out $10aud for some ridiculous clothing which gave us a laugh. We only lasted in here 30 minutes because of the crowds, the heat and the fact it’s another temple. At $25 AUD entry it makes for an expensive experience. If you haven’t been before, go but I doubt there would be many return visitors.

  4. Can’t visit Bangkok without come here to visit and pay your respect !! Very busy place but safe !! You can go by MRT or by boat!

  5. Beautiful mixture of building inside the grounds of kings palace, steeped in history it’s great to see.I was lucky enough when I was taking photos the changing of the guards was happening good to see but not as spectacular as some of the European palaces when they change guards.

  6. And especially in the mid-morning sunshine. The golden glints were simply dazzling. The Chakri Group of palaces and administrative buildings are particularly stunning and they amply reward the amateur photographer without too much effort on his/her part whatsoever. That was certainly the case for me.A great place to attend with a friend.

  7. always nice to see how the monarchy choose to show off their design skills and they did not disappoint on their lavishly decorated buildings. A lovely afternoon.

  8. What a beautiful area of the Grand Palace! The lawned gardens and the perfect topiary trees all look so fresh and cared for in the soaring heat! We loved seeing the giant bonsais in the decorated pots too. Stunning buildings in beautiful gardens.

  9. we saw the palace 40 years ago and it seems like yesterday.Everything clean and organized. Wear proper clothing

  10. It’s amazing how the monarchs like to be remembered. The buildings are impressive. It is also interesting how they reflect the sunlight. The grounds and buildings are in excellent shape.
