Came upon this shop after a night of wandering the night market and they have beautifully crafted goods unlike any we saw elsewhere made of silk. We were drawn in by one item and ended up buying something much more expensive due to its beauty and craftsmanship. The owners are excellent salesmen!
Bought a few Table runners and ornaments, which I had shipped to the UK. The service was impeccable and Jimmy kept me informed on delivery updates. Furthermore, the table runners so beautiful adorn my dining space. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Chaing Rai.
Purchased a white marble elephant. Owner was very nice. Double shrink wrapped it. Placed it in luggage and when opened in USA, elephant was damaged. Leg broken and tusk chipped. Not repairable. Be careful of buying and shipping breakable items from anywhere overseas. My experience has been having purchased items in China and other Asian Countries sent to USA, that you will be fortunate if the goods arrive without some damage. Making claim on my credit card insurance to see if they will reimburse me. We shall see.
