I happened on this great business. What attracted me to it (compared to many other places), was that the ladies were not out in front of the store luring me in; and, this business had a Bible verse posted on the outside. I am a Christian, and so this drew me in. Turns out the owner is a Christian, and speaks very good English. Her employee gave me a one hour Thai massage and was very professional. After the massage, they give you a hot tea. We had a great conversation. She has only been in business for 4 months, so go give this woman your business! You won’t be disappointed. She even helped me hail a Taxi back to my hotel. Highly recommend!!

Owned & run by a gracious & welcoming Thai lady who speaks fluent English & takes genuine interest in her customers. A clean, simple & tranquil retreat. Best Thai massage ever – not your usual one size fit all routine – staff highly skilled & attentive to individual need. Enjoyed x4 massages in the 6 days we stayed in Chiang Rai – cannot recommend more highly!
We liked our massages so much that we returned a second time in 3 days! My husband said it was the best massage he has had. I had the foot massage with a shoulder massage for the last part. Was fantastic, good pressure. We felt great, thank you May and her team.. we will see you again on our next trip to Chiang Rai.
The staff at Maysa Massage are more than professional. Me and my friend got the best Thai massages on our whole journey through Thailand (17 days) at this studio. The atmosphere is great and calm. The best place to relax so far and they really now what they do.
Excellent massage, I’ve been to several in town and this is the best one. The owner is friendly and very experienced with massage training and also speaks English, Thai and Chinese so no issues at all in communicating. All the staff here are very kind and excellent at massage. The massage options are clearly listed for you too choose and all of them are great. I have been here several times and now is by far my favorite place to go. Strongly recommend!
I have had many Thai massages in my life(in Thailand) and I think that by now I can make an informed assessment as to the quality of a massage. My wife is Thai and has a certificate in Thai massage so both of us are quite versed when we asess the quality of a Thai (medicinal) massage.One commenter over here made a big thing out of the fact that the owner is Christian and not Buddhist. In all fairness, this is probably the most inadequate criteria one can select (right after: “the massage parlour has electricity”).Long story short: I had a rather unexperienced lady trying her best whereas the lady taking care of my wife was ok, but certainly not exceptional.A fair overall assessment would be anywhere between 2-3 points. Given the courtesy and politeness of the staff I generously go for 3 points.
I went to Chiang mai couple times and first time in Chiang rai, found that one was very good, I had 1.5hrs thai massage and told the therapist my shoulder is tightly. She was gently rubbing my shower and head to relieve my tension. That nights i slept very well. The next day woke up, i thought should be paid more tips for grateful.Definitely, will go again for Maysa Massage, not to others because the next day i tried to five hotel’s massage shop for oil massage, only enjoy the cozy room but not for massage.
OK, most likely every excellent massage is the best one the day after… But Maysa is really a great place for a massage! We had the Thai Style Massage and both were very happy and relaxed with our choice.

Fantastic massage parlour offering foot massage, oil massage and Thai massage to make but a few.We opted for 2 x Thai massages (when in Rome…?)They were one hour long and up to 3 of you can have your massages together in a private room. You are given pajamas to put on. Then the treatment starts. I would say a Thai massage is not for the faint hearted, a cross between deep tissue massage and a chiropractor/osteopath. Massage and manipulations. You may feel a little battered around the edges, but the next morning I felt amazing!The place was lovely, serving Thai tea after.The price was unbelievable. For two 1 hour Thai massages was 400thb, I left just over 10% tip so we are talking about £6 including tip!A must in Chiang Rai
