  1. I had a pleasant experience with my father from feeding, bathing, and walking with elephants through the path in the mountain.

  2. The Karen elephant habitat was simply the best experiences of my Thailand trip. The ride to the habitat is amazing with stunning views. Our guide T is super nice and knows pretty much everything you can know about elephants. The three elephants living in the resort are so amazing and nice. You can feed them, walk around, take amazing pictures, mud bath and swim with them. Still you feel like they are acting naturally and are not trained to do sth specific but Ären just used to humans. The interaction between the care takers and the animals is simply fascinating! Go see for yourself it’s worth it!

  3. It was an awesome experience to feed the elephants and bath with them. I hope I can come back and do it again.

  4. A beautiful, humanitarian experience with an elephant family one on one. Heartfelt. Don’t support elephant camps that do rides. They harm the elephants to make them comply. This is a genuine one on one experience: feeding, mud bath, swimming hole. Intimate.

  5. We absolutely loved this experience – once in a lifetime opportunity. The staff genuinely cares for the animals – they are in a safe and loving environment. The animals are gentle and the experience was unmatched. We bathed and played with the animals. Bonus was a baby was born one month prior to our visit – it was sweet and approachable – highly recommend this!

  6. We cannot express how amazing we found this experience! This is a beautiful program which allows the Karen people (owners of the elephants) to keep their elephants in semi-free roaming settings out in the countryside. They are no longer used for trekking or other purposes as a result of ENP-Saddle off support. This particular choice “Karen Habitat” was clean, well organized and the staff/owners were quite lovely. There were two adults, one younger elephant and a beautiful baby girl. We walked with the elephants, fed them twice and went fo a mud bath and swim in the river. The lunch was also tasty and drinking water was available. Bring a bathing suit. The whole experience was very cool and we would 100% do this again! Consider watching “Love and Bananas” before visiting the asian elephants and please choose an excursion like Karen Habitat, ethical and caring homes for the elephants. They are amazingly beautiful creatures!
