One of many temples we visited on our drive from south to north Thailand and back again. Definitely worth stopping for a visit and some pics. The spotlights at night makes the temple change colours.We visited in the evening and got some really nice pics without people everywhere.Also good restaurant across the road (firstt steak and coffe – yes 2 t)
Very close to the clock tower. Well worth a visit. Very pretty but I didn’t see a soul here when I visited.

A beautiful temple, located right in the center of town, 100 meters from the Clock Tower. Best to visit at night when it is all lit up. Well worth the visit, when you are downtown.

Located on the roadside near the clock tower, the gorgeous Lanna style white temple was established over 300 years ago by evacuated Chiang Rai lord as a memorial to his hometown (that’s why it is called Chiang Rai temple). It has no fence, wall or any arch door like other temples so that pedestrians, riders, drivers, and passengers could clearly see its stunning architecture and the outstanding white Buddha statue. Very beautiful.
