a brand new bus of the city of Udon Thani to assist passengers at exit 1 of the airport.The ticket costs 20 baths and a space is provided inside the bus for suitcases and backpacks.
Unfortunately they don’t advertise it as the cheapest and still very comfortable option of getting from the airport to the city centre (and the bus stop is just at the edge of the terminal building – but the airport prefers to advertise its limousine service – actually taxis or shared vans), but once you discover it when in town, you can at least take it on your way back.
Unfortunately, seems the Covid19 crisis has killed this really useful bus system, especially for tourists arriving at the airport.
