  1. I went there on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was almost deserted. Roughly 10 other people in the whole park. Had an eerie feeling to it.In line with other reviews, it seems the only parts open midweek are the wave pool, kids area and the lazy river. Don’t even think of going midweek unless you’re taking kids under 10.It doesn’t seem like they have a set price. The sign said “January 2019” so I guess it changes a lot. Currently it is 1000 adult, 500 child, under 90cm free for weekends and half price on weekdays.

  2. I do not recommend this at all. It is 30 minutes outside of Chiangmai so paid for transportation there and back. It is very expensive. There was nothing in any of their information about the two larger slides being closed during the week. It is high season so not sure why they are only open on weekends. The facility itself is nice if they were open. If you want to go I would check on price and if they are open before making the trip.

  3. Water, be it rain or water parks brings out the child in all of us, well there’s always exceptions and perhaps this will not be a good idea for them. Not too far from main Chiang Man, tops 30 minutes ride from the center. Ample parking space. A great place especially if you are travelling with kids. You will also notice that there are a lot of Thai families around which is always nice. After having spent so much time in Chiang Mai, over the last 4 years, I finally discovered the Water Tube Trek Park when my school took the teachers and staff for a day of fun and team building at the end of the last session. I was skeptical about going, I love water but am not confident of being in the deep or in water parks. I went and personally for me it turned out to be more than just a fun day. It’s perfect place for people who are not very confident in deep waters or on crazy rides. It’s a great place for all age groups. They have sections which are completely chill out zones but in the middle of the hustle bustle and right next to the pool area where you can be a part of fun even if you don’t want to step in. There are the high speed slides and cones, water drenches and the gentle boating options as well. Preferably carry your own bathing suits even if you plan not to cause you might just get involved. They do have some for rental and sale but very Thai style and might not be your choice for a bathing suit. Food and drinks are available at the park and is not super expensive. If you can manage to sneak in stuff then great for you but it’ nice to buy stuff there. The place was clean and the waters were clear and it looked like they do take care of their water park.Entry fee: Weekdays are of course cheaper than weekends, between 200 to 500 Baht. Different pricing for adults and kids. They also have group packages.

  4. I went with a group of about 15 people and we had a blast. We went on a monday (holiday). There were a decent amount of people. They had nice slides, although one was very bad. The wave pool was a little weak, but I had a great time. The people there are nice, and the food is nice. I recommend

  5. Half of the waterpark’s slides were closed on the day we visited. The only things available were the Lazy River and Kids’ Area. Other than the facilities, the food was unacceptable and small in portion. This place is absolutely terrible, and I can see why there are so many terrible reviews. If you want a memorable waterpark experience that will delight all ages, visit Grand Canyon Waterpark instead. Tube Trek is not worthy of your time or money.

  6. Half the park closed and only found out on arrival. Kids area and lazy river only open. Tide / Wave area closed until 1pm then only every hour. Not the cleanest. Save your money dont go.

  7. This place is great especially for young kids, with several fun spirally water slides and water spraying everywhere to stimulate the senses. My six-year old loves it as apparently do people of all ages. I have a blast there too as to plenty of other adults. We’ve gone four times now and usually stay for three hours, having to drag our daughter away because she doesn’t want to leave. There is another more adventurous option which includes much higher slides which I have not tried. That costs about double the B199 for the basic pass (I’m not sure exactly how much) and looks like wilder fun for older kids and adults. In the low season like now, they are open only on Saturdays and Sundays. Downside is that you will still have to pay even if you don’t plan to play in the water and they do not allow food or drink to be taken in, because they sell their own. Their food is minimal but very reasonably priced. It’s one of the best places in Chiang Mai for kids.

  8. A great way to cool off and have some fun for Adults or kids. I attended with my 29 year old son and we had a great couple of hours and felt it was money well spent for a different way to spend our time. We went on a Friday and arrived about midday. We did not have to wait in line for ANY ride, unlike most other water / theme parks. For adults there are 3 big slides, a gravity drop slide, one dual tube funnel, and 1 quad funnel. For those rides alone , we felt it was worth the 399 Bhat entry. There were free lockers for your gear and clean showers. Now if you have little kids there is a heap of things for them to get into. Little slides, water fountains, the beach pool ( no waves). There are huts you can use for shade. You can’t take food or water in but the prices are reasonable. It must not be too popular with the locals as the cab driver who picked us up had never been there. There were also no cabs waiting but it only took a few minutes to get a grab pick up. It’s not a western size waterpark, but either is the entry price. We found it a great way to spend an afternoon.
