The park cover a large area, and one need to hire a golf kart to go round the entire park.To hire the golf kart, one must provide identity card or passport. A European couple ahead of us did not have any identity so could not hire a golf kart, without which is not possible to cover the entire park. Make sure you bring identity card or passport if you intend to hire a golf kart and drive yourself. There are several areas of interest within the park. There is a tea plantation as well and a restaurant. There is not much food options in the restaurant and its quite pricey. The view is nice and there are lots of places to take good photos…
Very nice park for young kids , very well organised the bus took us 4 spots , all spots 15 min stoppage and kids have full fun seeing swan lake feeding giraffe zebra horses and all .
Kids Disappointed because they only accept the min weight of 40kg for the Zipline. It is not mentioned anywhere. So one only figures out when you are here. Not good.
Nice zoo. However not much to do there once you did the ZiplineNote: For kids below 14 Zipline is not open
Nice place. A bit hot in the afternoon.. actually reached there at 11am was still cooling but… as the day proceeded it started to burn.. but that is just the weather…For the attraction it is more like for older folks.. kind a chill.. not a fun activity place for youngster. So over all is great. The park is still in the midst of growing so the trees are not all in place. Might come over in another 2 or 3 years down when everything is in order
We enjoyed driving around the park but this venue is clearly more for locals than for international tourists.
What a surprise on our day trip around Chang Rai. We had booked a private car and choosed 4 sightseeing to visit and one of them was Singha Park.We had no expectation in advance. We Got very surpriced over the sove of the park Area and the content. It’s an exceptionel visit with kids and a good break for a day trip. We choose to rent a golf car that we could drive our selfe and followed the path around the parl that included farmers place, small zoo with petting animals but also a giraf and zebras.A Big activity Area and some restaurants and cafés.You can easily spent 2 hours in the Area before you continue the journey. We are travelling with Two kids 7 and 9.
Not really worth it IMO. Wasn’t planning on seeing the entire park so I just wanted to go for a long walk on my own. Got told by park security that you even have to pay to do that while I was on the trail. A bit of a tourist trap if you ask me, probably decent if your brining your family.
Singha Park Chiang Rai (สิงห์ปาร์คเชียงราย) is located at Mu 1 Tambon Mae Kon, on Den Ha-Dong Ma Da Road, only 6 kilometers from Wat Rong Khun. Enjoy agricultural areas and a tea plantation of over 600 rai. Various fresh fruits; such as, strawberry, jujube, as well as, special formulas of tea products from the farm are on sale. The admission fee is 50 Baht/ person.
The park is okay. It is nice that you can explore the park with a golf cart. However, I am very disappointed in the zoo that is on the route. The cages of the animals are too small and they do not look happy. I think it is outdated. Animals should not live in captivity for the pleasure of people. Think carefully before you buy a ticket because then you are contributing to this!
