  1. This temple is just off the main road, you won’t notice it if you are just walking down the road. There is a sign board indicating to the direction of temple. Then you have to turn and enter in the allay the temple would be in front of you. Well, this is yet an other temple in the same area… there are several temples..but every temple has a different history that’s what makes every temple different from each other.

  2. In the centre of Chiang Mai, this is a temple that you must visit. The area is full of Wats, each one seemingly more ornate than the last. You can be spoilt for choice.

  4. This is a quiet, unassuming Buddhist temple complex located off a main road, partially hidden behind shops in the Old City. The main temple/shrine is attractive and there is a prominent stupa as well. If your interest takes you beyond the aesthetic, there is an ancient Buddhist manuscript library on site.

  5. We visited this morning and brought a gift of foods as alms for the monks. In return we received their blessing. Small and compact, but worth a visit.

  8. We reached this wat during our walking tour of the old city. It is located in the centre of the old town and there was no admission fee. There were no other visitor and was quite and peaceful. The compound was beautiful and there were a number of buildings there. This comprised of a viharn with several Buddha image, of which one was larger. Besides this, there was a library building. The chedi had statues of elephants at its four corners. Next to the viharn was the wooden ordination hall which was locked.

  9. This more than 600 yrs old temple is very beautiful, delicately built mostly by wood to the Lanna style architecture.Monks are friendly ,nice to visit
