  1. Hat Chao Mai National Park is located at Sikao in Thailand. This national park is quite interesting with ample nature.

  2. This national park is really deserve more attention from adventure traveler. There’re plenty trips to plan. Today I’ll just write the infamous one. I took the boat tour which took 20 mintue to reach Chao Khun cave. Cruise along mangrove forest is relax part, til your feet touch the ground – the journey really just begin. You’ll need to climb up few ladders. Expect a bit of strenuous hike here. Get yourself prepare with proper pair of shoes that can take you up hill and ready to get wet down inside the cave in case high tide. It is a big cave with stalactites and stalactites. Really gorgeous when we splash light on them, sparkle everywhere! The boat charged me 800฿ for round trip and we’re a family of 4 people including 2 kids.

  3. Hat Chao Mai National Park is a protected area located in the Sikao and Kantang Districts of Trang Province, Thailand. It is a marine national park. Established in 1981, it is an IUCN Category II protected area with coral reefs, and around an area measuring 230.86 square kilometers.

  4. Cycled to this National Park hoping to see some great local flora & fauna. 10 min is all it took to ride around the available roads. Don’t expect a map of the park. There isn’t one available. Nothing to see except plenty of rubbish piled up. This place really looked like a rubbish dump.Perhaps all the good parts of the park are in the water?

  5. Best day trip of out chaingi Mai trip ,great scenery ,went to the highest point in Thailand at 2500 metres stopped off at waterfalls and the king and queens pagodas lovely countryside nice and cool temp and lot of wildlife a trip well worth making

  6. Ok, maybe is not the most amazing place of Thailand, but there are some things nice, a lot of crabs kn low tide, you can here them running as are so many! No a very touristic place, so veeeery cheap! 50b per hour to rent the Kayak (i payed 500 for 2-3h in Ko Tarutao), you can go to the river, go around the little island and enjoy a bay only for you!!! There’s the possibility to go for Dugongs as organized trip, but no 100% possibility to see them but is ok! Nice the visitor centre with all the descriptions about dugongs and seahorses. The food is good and very cheap! 30-40 b per dish! Better rent a motorbike because your far away from everything! Very thai place, we meet locals that took us photos because they were not use to see occidental people! Different from other places in Thailand, if you have a lot of time go there ? and relax, and if you are lucky as us you can enjoy when dark locals fishing with webs on the beach and cook them on the fire ? the kitchen close early, at 16-17 pm, so if you sleep in the park remember to buy the dinner soon!!! Pay attention to the ants if you rest in a tent, could invade everything! Staff very friendly

  7. It’s a national park with campsite, equipped with toilet, and a restaurant operated from 9am to 4pm (with nice food). Can come for picnic even if you are not prepared for camping. Entrance fee 200 ฿ / adult & 100 ฿ / children for foreigner, and 30 ฿ / pax for vehicle.

  8. Absolutely wonderful drive-through, especially on a motorbike. The trees form a stunning nature tunnel through which one occasionally glimpses flashes of limestone rock jutting up from the sea. Simple beautiful!

  9. Plan to stay in a national park for 3 nights but left earlier because aware of monkeys. The beach is beautiful but got some trash due to the wind. There was crowned on weekend. Not for from Pak Meng market so you can buy some local food there.
