ao pakarang is a small beach area near laem kut and only one resort is located there. so it was realy quiet and relaxed during our stay there. the beach is only useble during low tide…if it is high tide the whole beach section is under water and the gulf of siam reaches till the rocks and the trees which are in the back of the beach. during hightide there are also no spaces to lie down. not very comfortable and it is necessary to enter to the restaurant to leave the belongings there. so it is obligatory to order drinks or food to stay there. we cannot recomment ao pakarang for guests who come there for stay on the beach. we can recomment for guests who are looking for tranquillity. therefore it is necessary to have a room at the resort which is located there.
I drove scooter there and had the cocktail. The view was nice but the beach is very rough. not so confortable to lying on the beach.

It’s a bit far from the main pier but it’s nice and quiet. The beach is small with lots of trees and clear water.
We were staying in Nimmanoradee resort, which is located on this beach.Beach is so nice with white sand, natural trees growing, giving nice shade. Hummocks and swings hanging from the trees. Sea is great, on the base of the cove there is not so big waves, and when you go snorkiling, there is plenty of fish to sea!Resort and beach is very relaxed, we truly loved this beach.
Small beach, actually very small beach. Far away from everything. Not so sure why anyone would go here. Far better options on the island in my humble opinion.
