  1. I visited Koh Samet three times; December/January 2017, March/April 2017, May/June 2017. I really like Ao Phai beach and you can find Samed Villa Resort there, which is the best accomodation in Koh Samet according me. Profesional staff, excellent food, clean an comfortable room.Ao Phai beach is clean, quiet and you can find a good massage there (special massage from lady DANG).

  2. Before going on our first trip to Samet, I was very confused about which beach to stay on. I was so glad I chose Ao Phai. We walked on Tubtim and the others leading to the village, and Tubtim was very cute (though there was construction work at time we visited), but we thought ours was the best by far. Sai Kaew was horrendous – so, so packed and noisy with tour groups and boats.Ao Phai was quiet enough for us during the day, and really atmospheric at night. There are some great chill-out bars nearby, and the Silver Sands club is there too if you wanna dance. We loved this beach.

  3. We stayed at the Ao Phai. Very clean beach. Can sit and enjoy your day at this beach. Lots of good restaurant around the area.

  4. Another plesant stay on the lovely, and conveniently close to Bangkok Island beach of Koh Samet. This location is clean, and quiet compared to some other highly crowded, and noisy beaches there.Lounging, and eating a lovely “Thai food” meal is what you can expect while enjoying the sun and the beach here

  5. I’m very dissapointed by the beaches here but on this beach there’s a part that doesn’t belong to any resort and is not visited by speed boats. Nice ‘n’ sandy and vary calm in comparoson to many other beaches

  6. Only some steps from center of Kho Samet. You can go by feet, clear water and not so many speedboats. Many choices for eating or drinking. Not so many free places with shadow.Otherwise rent a chair for 80 bath.

  7. I saw Many dog many cat,and there are many dropping stool, also many cigarette discarded not cleaned

  8. Clear water, white sand. There are some beach lounge chairs to be rented. The personnel that you should pay to will appear as soon as you put some thing on one of the chairs. Toilets are close to the beach. Follow the signs a little bit to the hill. I haven’t seen any showers, which is the only disadvantage that I saw.

  9. If you like to stay close to paradise this is the place. Close to an awesome beach with beautiful sand. Take snorkeling in corals close to the beach.

  10. We just stayed 2 nights and it was the worst holidays we ever had. There’s a pub in the middle of the beach called the Silver Sand where drunkards sing badly and loudly (with karaoke microphone !) all night until 6 am !! The second night we managed to let them stop at 11pm by calling the police and reminding them that there is a curfew in place (only until november 1st…). If you rented a beachfront bungalow, forget about sleeping at night. Better get dead drunk with them and doze off during the day. The next beach, Ao Taptim, is a much much better choice.
