  1. Beautiful Shan style architectures.Pray at the “Palalakaeng” Buddha for your prosperity, wealthy and healthy lives.

  2. Another beautiful example of shan architecture. This temple has an elaborate tiered wooden rood and also features a bronze Buddha statue from Mandalay. The day I visited there was no other tourists around and it was so nice to walk around and take in the beauty of the temples, wat and buildings.

  3. A very beautiful Shan-styled temple that is the 2nd oldest temple in MHS. The main shrine contained two big Buddha statue, golden statue at the back and white jade statue at the front. The original statue is the golden one at the back, and the white jade statue was donated by the locals during the rebuilt many years ago.Temple is just behind the Panorama Hotel using the back gate, or can also be entered using the small front gate along the main MHS road, or the bigger entrance along the side road to the wet market.

  4. Nice and peaceful in the city and close to the local market.Built from the governor of the town in the past.

  5. Large compound, place was very quiet when I visited. But you can see the temple is quite old and maintain the local characteristics of temples in Mae Hong Son.

  6. I stopped by this temple after visiting the local market. It is just next to the market so you can actually combined that two. The temple “wooden pagoda” is very impressive for me. but the interior is not that beautiful. It is again another temple complex with many stupa, pagoda and main temple. So if you have time, explore all, but i was too tired.

  7. Nice complex of Burmese style buildings, with a main structure and some smaller ones, with a beautiful white and golden pagoda.

  8. This small ancient temple, located next to the market, is wooden and pretty, especially the buildings that are all around. In the main teak building there is a beautiful golden Buddha at the back of the prayer room. Much of it is not accessible to the public.
