I do yoga here every morning at Sunny’s yoga over looking this very pretty bay. Like all of the west coast the water is shallow in May. Good for a dip but not swimming.

So this isn’t just a party destination… it has amazing beaches and beautiful spots! Travelled Thailand and the beaches here are incredible, spotless clean and not crowded!
A lovely little beach, discreetly lined with restaurants among the trees.My only niggle is that at low tide you have to walk a long way out to even get up to your waist in water.
After the disappointing baan tai beach, I really wanted to see something close to the Thai beaches everyone raves about and this was close to that. Very pictoresque, still lined with resort and bungalows bu these were discretely hidden behind the trees. It’s April so I wasn’t expecting much in terms of swimming due to low tide. This water was okay, still very shallow bus somewhat swimmable. No 100% plastic free but pleasantly clean. There were some families here and there but surely not crowded. If you walk to the most southern part there you can get access to a more secluded small beach but there were nudists there so I didn’t go.
This is a great beach on Ko Phangan & a must visit. Swimmable sea, golden sand & plenty of palm trees. Stunning location for a stroll.
