Been to a lot of night markets all over Thailand and I would have to say this was by far the smallest! Mainly food really but we did have a great Pad Thai for dinner at one of the stalls.My wife had pork and I had pork & prawns, was delicious and cost us 75 THB! After we sat down to eat the stall got ridiculously busy! So was obviously very popular.
It’s a typical night market. A lot of street food along the roadside with very reasonable price. A good place to try local food
quiet for a market, had to dodge cars and bikes too, mainly food stalls with other shops along side roads
A small and rarely visited place, but thanks to this it is more natural. Usually Chumpon is just a stop on the road to Koh Tao and Koh Samui, but it is worth staying at least one night. Great Thai Food!
Street food in Thailand is always good and, generally, clean. Chumphon is no different. Special mentions for the delicious oyster omelettes, biryani rice with fried chicken, coconut pancake, coconut milk shake and mango with sticky rice.
Amazing variety of Thai dishes offered made on the spot. Close to one of the terminals there’s a lady preparing pad thai all, night, that’s the one you want!

I just took a walk between the Big One Minimart and the Ocean Shopping Mall, and I found plenty of tasty-looking food on offer at the side of the road. I chose to eat at Phad Thai Chumphon. The Shrimp Phad Thai they served me was the best I’ve eaten in Thailand. Highly recommended!
It gets lively in the night with good food options along the night market street. Food is priced reasonably and quality is good.
The night market spans along a wide area in front of Chumphon station with countless stalls offering cheap Thai and multi-ethnic food on the go. Some places offer raw food that will be prepared in front of you. But I doubt their hygiene conditions and would not consume them. The night market is not only a great place for grabbing a bite for a budget, but also for the local experience.
