Surin’s a bit short on activities for children, so this new waterpark is a welcome addition. The water is shallow, and there’s plenty of supervision there.
Brought five local children from a villagein PRASAT.Not expensive, but you get what you pay for !!!!Very small water park , kids were bored within the hour !!!!Food and refreshments inside are limited and overpriced.OK for young children probably up to the age of 10!Not for me, will not return.
Spent a small fortune getting here, really looking forward to it as one of the only activities available to do in Surin. All looked normal from outside and there were people wandering around and eating at the restaurants. However, the actual water park has been closed since (?) and until mid-January for refurbishment. This wasn’t advertised anywhere on the website! Thoroughly disappointed, what a waste of time and effort.
I took two 6 year old there and had to pry them away with a crowbar! We were there for more than 4 hours and for the price, it was worth every baht. The staff were friendly and also made sure the older children did not do anything too silly. The pools were clean and the water was actually cold! The water park is not huge but there was plenty of room for people to have swim, play on the slides, etc. There was food and drink and, as one would expect, there was a fair markup, but I still escaped for under 150 baht.I liked it because, compared to other theme parks in Thailand, this is cheap but still good quality. It’s also a chance for the children to do something different. The kids loved the pools, slides and were happy with the food. The only downside is their lack of advertising when the place is closed. We went back a couple of weeks later, having driven 50kms to get there, only to be met by a power mad security guard who angrily told us the place was closed. Another man then more politely said they were having a 2 day concert. Nothing on the website.
A big water park packed into a small space. My children aged 12 and 10 enjoyed four hours here recently. 3 big slides, 3 small slides, a short lazy river and a short salt water lap pool with jacuzzi (not working the day we were there) make this a fun place. Plenty of pool side seating on two floors ensure guardians can ensure their charges are safe, AND there are plenty of pool supervisors watching over the safety of all in the water (at least 5 or 6 on the weekend I was there). Food and drink is not allowed to be brought in, however there are plenty of inexpensive food and drink stands inside the complex.
Quite good water park but getting old (some rust on the slides). One of the three big slides was closed (water pump broken). It’s not very big but OK for a few hours. Very nice and helpful staff.
My children aged 13 and 11 enjoyed this water park with their friend aged 9. There is a salt water pool which is short, but OK for swimming laps. The jacuzzi area did not have any bubbles today. And they also enjoyed the slides and ‘lazy river’. However a big change is that there are no food or drink stands occupied now. Luckily the staff did allow my wife to bring in some snacks bought at the close by 7-11. The rest of the Surin centre is becoming vacant with many units now unoccupied and it is a shame to see it becoming a ghost town.
I’ve taken my children (11 and 13) to Saran Water Park several times. On this occasion it was midday on a Sunday.Whilst the water park is still serviceable, it is in need of some maintenance. The small salt water lap pool is clean – but the jacuzzi no longer works. And the sun umbrellas are broken or missing. The lazy river is clean, but is very lazy, since the pump to give the water a current was not working. The slides all seem in good condition.Unfortunately the in-venue food stalls are mostly closed, although some snacks are available. The water park is attached to a medium sized mall. However, a lot of the units are now empty. So, if you like water parks, go visit to give them some custom. And hopefully it will be economically viable to keep it open for many years to come.
A step above, maybe two steps above most Isaan water parks. Easy to find, easy to park, very polite staff who seem to have some safety training. The kids had a blast and I didn’t worry about lifeguards.
Water very cool . Two of the slides were out of action. Think improvements were being made . But didn’t stop all 9 of us enjoying ourselves . Price was only 1300 baht for all 9 inc hire of three swim costumes and two baby float jackets. Not badly priced . At all
