  1. I visited this park at night and it was quite relaxing. At least on this particular evening, it was popular with young people who would hang out with there souped-up motorcycles. The all were quite friendly to this “farang” and let me take pictures of them and their bikes. Also, the golden dragon statue is quite striking when illuminated at night./

  2. It’s a small, square park. The central dragon is quite impressive, especially when lit up at night. Seems to be the spot to park your motorbike if you’re going downtown to the walking street. Really, it’s nice but not noteworthy.

  3. Standard park with an interesting golden dragon to photograph; otherwise nothing else to see. Worth looking at if you are in Old Town Phuket, otherwise don’t bother.

  4. This is a small park with a lot of shadow. What makes it interesting us the large golden dragon which is really massive. The original name is Queen Sirikit’s 72nd Anniversary Chalerm Prakiat Park but it is also known as Dragon Park. The Park is used for important festivals. It is said that the dragon protects the people from harm and danger.

  5. Found this while out and about lovely big Dragon in the park in the centre of phuket next to a nice park area nice to see

  6. Queen Sirikit Park is also called Lan Manggon. It is located on Thalang Road, next to the Tourism Authority of Phuket Office. It has a golden dragon monument built in it. It was built by Phuket Municipality on the occasion of the 72nd Birthday Anniversary of HM Queen Sirikit in 2004. You can see yoga and meditation groups meeting here.

  7. Nothing much to see. Good for day and night photo-taking.Pretty empty park with only this dragon status and fountain.

  8. Great little park in the middle of town. Great to chill out for a bit. Lots of locals hanging out/meeting.
