Its not really a catfish farm, there’s only one large catfish that was visible.Practically all exhibitions are outdated and in poor condition, definitely ovners are trying to earn maximum with existing objects.Animals are kept in poor conditions , definitely they need to rethink how are animals kept.Place has or had lot of potential but is definitely left down by owners.
Farm? With two catfish? Come on!!! The paths are not maintained, there’s trash in the bushes, the slats on the bridge over the swamp with catfish are rotten, the croc has about a litre of water in a tiny unkempt enclosure, the tortoises have even less and its filthy water, the pig looks bored and lonely, the monkey in the tiny cage displays aberrant behaviour.Would I recommended? Yes: for closure!
Don’t bother going, the owner keeps a monkey on a harness and was really rough with it holding it down by the tail. The crocodile is in a tiny enclosure with a small pool, really sad to see.
Please avoid supporting this place!!!! Witnessing such distressed animals is heartbreaking. The poor skinny crocodile was kept in a tiny concrete enclosure and seemed almost lifeless. The turtles was fearful of humans and their area overcrowded in limited space with insufficient water. Despite encountering catfish towards the end, it’s regrettable to have supported such animal cruelty. Additionally, the receptionist’s use of a monkey in a leash also raises concerns about animal welfare overall.
This place is NOT a ‘hidden gem’. This place is unethical and cruel. Animals kept in tiny unclean cages and they offer elephant riding. AVOID if you don’t want to support/feed money into animal exploitation. We should have done our research 🙁
Deffinitly the most unethical animal place you will see however for 50baht entry it was a good look around and Interesting to see. Weird and wonderful but unethical.
Absolutely awful place DO NOT visit unless you go to sort the owners out animals kept in awful conditions totally unethical and cruel.
ANIMAL CRUELTY DO NOT VISIT We have just visited this place and WTF! Crocodile has about 1 meter cubed enclosure which is absolutely disgusting. He looked dead when we saw him he was just laying there motionless it made my girlfriend cry. The place needs demolishing and the animals relocating to an ETHICAL and SPACIOUS sanctuary. Spoke to the woman about the issue with the welfare of the animals and she didn’t give a single f*ck she needs putting in with the alligator for a proper meal as probably isn’t fed. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL
Terrible place, the elephants are just slaves here.I can’t understand that places like this exist.I NOT reccomend this place.
The owner of this farm was so kind! We accidentally gave him 500 baht instead of 200 baht and he stopped us on the way out and told us that we had over payed him. The farm was beautiful and the swinging bridge was so fun.
