  1. I’m not sure I’d make a special trip to come here but as we were staying in Lamai not far away we decided to walk up one morning. The prices were very reasonable considering the work they had to do to set this up; 100 to walk up, 200 to ride up on the cable car or 800 to ride up and do the zip wire. We walked up, which is perfectly doable; I’m 62 and had no problem. Contrary to some reviews it was not a hard sell at all, a thoroughly nice lady at the entrance sold us our tickets and wished us well.By the time I approached the top I was beginning to regret my parsimony as I was simply drenched in sweat and only saved 100 Baht. On the way down my knees had quite a lot to say as well! The cafe at the top is charming and we enjoyed drinks that were not at all overpriced. The view is OK, nothing amazing, but the vibe and the cool breeze were such that we sat there for ages. From below it looks rickety and nailed together with bits of wood. Actually the whole structure is made of steel which they have then made rustic by disguising this with wooden poles. Don’t race across in a taxi to get here on your first day, but if you’re passing this is charming.

  2. This is a cute place built for tourists to try to squeeze as much as possible from them. A very short 200 Bht per person cable ride to a restaurant that has a nice view. But be careful, they ‘accidentally’ added 100 Bht to our bill at the restaurant. They found it very funny when I noticed – I guess most tourists do not check.

  3. Entrance fee is 200 baht. The fish spa was close. You have to pay more for the cable car or ziplining (900-1000 baht).Valentine stone is very underwhelming (just stones bro). It is quite a way up so wouldnt recommend the elderly to travel there with slippery stones. The scenery when you reach the top is decently nice but the bar on top sells drinks at pricey prices (a mineral bottle was like 150 baht?). Alot of insects by the way. I was continuously walking and moving but still got bitten a few times.

  4. View point near to the beach and Rawai seafood market, rent a bike and come on here to see one of the best view on Patong

  5. After a 10 min up, you can enjoy a beautiful view and have some drink and foodThey have also a cable car to go up and a zip line to go down. For us the zip line was expensive (800thb for 2min…) so walk it is a good option ! It is not so complicated but a little sportive ? the good thing needs effort !

  6. Great place for pictures, really nice view and easy to get to. Worth the visit but make sure your scooter has the power if there are two of you as the road is steep

  7. I would have happily paid for a drink at the viewpoint but I felt as though 100bht was too much for a walk uphill and entrance to a cafe. The valentine stone isn’t worth the 100bht to get into the garden either. It would be better to keep the high cafe prices and charge less to walk up.

  8. Very hard climb to get to the cable car that takes you to the viewpoint. Once there service is unrushed and under no obligation to buy food or drinks. On a clear dy the view over the island is magnificent. At 400B per person was quite expensive for what we got.

  9. An overall fun experience. Getting to the viewpoint on the funicular train was fun, as was zip lining. We only had drinks at the restaurant but very nice views and very friendly service.

  10. Quite an interesting place to visit. I walked here from Lanai, about a 20 minute walk. It was only 200 baht entry fee which includes the cable car return ride. Nice restaurant at the top with reasonably priced food and drinks. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. One word of caution however, to get to the cable car there around 50 steps. Do not attempt it if you have mobility issues.
