Kad Klang Wiang is perched on a picturesque hilltop overlooking 71 Ratchadamnern Road Phrasing subdistrict, Thailand
‘Kad’ means market. This market, however, consists of Boutiques , Restaurants, Galleries and Beauty & Health premises all surrounding a very green ‘oasis’ in the very centre of the ancient moated heart of Chiang Mai city. It is quite possible to spend most of your day and evening here because of the range of attractions. In the very centre of the Kad is a beautiful garden with many Palm trees shading a grassed area with paths and picnic tables. Entrance to the garden is via the steps between the ‘Hot Chilli’ Restaurant and the ‘Wawee’ Coffee Bar. Around the garden are the boutiques which all face inwards towards the garden so that visitors can stroll around and see what is on offer as well as relax , eat and drink in the garden area itself. A particular favourite venue of mine is the ‘ Pranom Health Massage’ shop which offers probably the best value and highest standard massages in the city. If you visit the Sunday Market you can take a break from the thronging hordes to relax in the garden whilst being entertained ‘al fresco’ by singers , musicians and dancers. Don’t miss this 5* attraction !

Just a small commercial development near the Thapai Gate containing a few cafes, bars, and shops. Very average experience.
A small shoping arcade mostly comprising of restaurant offering local food. What make this “kad” , a northern style street market, different from others may be a small garden in the center and the decoration of some restaurant with lots of “Ngob”, a fermer hats, in front of the restaurant facing the road. Nearby there are some arts shop and Let’s Relax massage branch in a Europian castle style.
We had coffee then we ate north thai food for a good price. I had a footmassage later and my mother a pedicure. Great time to kill the hours. After two days we came here again (mainly for the massags,cause that was amazing). Coffee at wawee Bistro is great!
This is on Rachadmnoen street.The small ,open air ,shopping plaza has a central small garden with shops surrounding vit.It is nice just to sit there or use one of the shops and stalls.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious, with a variety of shops, parking, clean bathrooms, guides to new visitors.
