  1. The staff were friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The place was beautiful with an amazing waterfall. We loved the elephants.

  2. Simon and the crew were a lot of fun and informative at the same time. You see their close connections to the grey beasts. The elephants were amazingly gentle and fun.The drive there is a bit of a haul but once up the hill/mountain side the adventure begins.Plenty of time for each person on the tour to get a full experience one on one with the various elephants.4 females ranging in age from 18 to 60+.Feeding, mud bath, washing and play were all elements of the trip.A hike to a set of falls and back at the end highlighted the day (not with elephants for this portion). My wife and I took part in the half day tour.

  3. We went in the afternoon we were picked up from our hotel on the dot. When we arrived at the sanctuary after a long bit drive but amazing views lunch was prepared & ready for us to eat. Our guide was really good friendly & funny. We got up close to the elephants that look like they are well looked after. we also had a walk through the jungle areas down to a beautiful waterfall.Overall we had a fantastic day we would definitely recommend it.

  4. The whole day was amazing! We were picked up on time by an open back taxi, the drive to the sanctuary is a hour and a half out through jungle and uneven roads, but was okay. We arrived along with a group of about 20, and changed into the uniforms. The elephants were already waiting for us! We spent the morning feeding their 4 elephants bananas, learning about their past and what they do now. There was a photographer taking photos, as well as the staff taking photos on our phones for us. Plenty of photos opportunities! We then were slathered in mud and gave them a mud bath, before trekking to the local river to cool them down and wash the mud off. Next we took a further 20 minute hike in our swimwear to a beautiful waterfall, where we could swim, and locals sold drinks and beautiful bracelets which they would tie for you and give you a blessing. Our tour included lunch, which was rice and curried fruits. In the afternoon, the tour consisted of “rafting”, which ended up being 10ft bamboo rafts. The afternoon was also brilliant. We were guided along a river, where other local elephants would splash us as we went past. Locals were there drinking and having fun, and were waving and splashing us too. The day was just brilliant. One thing to note, as we were very conscious we wanted to go to a place that treated the elephants with respect, is that their elephants wear little GPS tracking necklaces, and have free roam of the jungle. They come back every morning for their fruity treats and mud baths, but are free to roam afterwards. There was no riding, ties, or small pens.

  5. Oct Thur . After booking I didn’t receive an official email with the booking details, but received a manual confirmation asking for our hotel with a WhatsApp number. We realized we had a miscommunication two days before our tour, I WhatsApp’d the listed number and received instant response and confirmation. . We were picked up at around 6:40am. In total we were 6 on this tour with a couple from DC and another from the UK. Our ride took about 2 hours. We were lamenting why nobody mentioned the winding roads up the mountains. We felt so sick. It appears that we were going to see the jungle elephants rather than the city elephants. Our tour guide Robert was energetic and knowledgeable. . The toilets were clean, albeit without toilet paper. The showers were of the outdoor variety. I failed to bring a towel or shower shoes, but it’s better just to bring a change of clothes and shower at home. There are mud and sticks in places you wouldn’t expect. . We changed into our swim suits and don a provided jungle shirt. Then we feed bananas to the sanctuary elephants who wander over in the mornings to get fed. Afterwards we meet elephants in the mud baths to mud bath them, and lastly we head to the river to wash ourselves and the elephants off. The elephants go on and forage in the rest of the jungle after that, while we head on a hike to the waterfall. . Lunch is provided afterwards. For us it was watermelon, rice, a sweet and sour meat dish, and a potato curry. We were nervous about eating too much because of the impeding car ride back into town. . Bring cash to purchase drinks at the waterfall and tip at the end . Overall a sweet time with jungle elephants for a half a day. Take something for the wild ride up the mountains!

  6. Absolutely amazing!! We did the 2 days 1 night tour, and just loved every minute of it. The elephants were so well taken care of, and we had 2 days of full activities planned for us. They made us all of our meals while we were there and took amazing care of us. Definitely recommend this experience. Special shoutout to our guide Simon and our driver Golf who were kind, warm and funny!

  8. This was probably one of the best experiences we had during our trip to Thailand. The elephants looked happy and well-treated. Our guide during the visit was engaging and friendly and made the visit super fun. It was probably more fun than I was expecting! We got to feed the elephants, make food for them, give them mud baths, and swim with them in the river. Be ready to get WET!

  9. Fantastic day and experience at the sanctuary, with my uncle, his wife, my husband and two daughters (aged 8 and 1).The interaction and activities with the elephants were made accessible for us all, including the youngest in the family.Huge recognition for our guide, Simon who made the inclusion possible. As well as being knowledgeable and friendly he took extra care carrying the small one throughout the day keeping her out of the sun as much as possible. He was also our photographer! The elephants are well cared for and the day is led by them.Would highly recommend a visit, thank you to all who care for these gentle giants.

  10. This was an amazing experience. The elephants are well taken care of.Simon has run the business for the past 10 years and is a very happy guy and looks after the elephants along with the others who live and work there. We done the half day experience. We spent a good amount of time with the elephants feeding them, bathing them and walking with them. Simon then took us down to see a waterfall which was really pretty and then had a cooked lunch which tasted amazing.I would recommend this to anyone is who keen to do an elephant sanctuary as it was such an amazing once in a lifetime experience.
