Their Vipassana retreat experience is like no other you can experience. The support given is so intimate and fine-tuned to the energies of the practitioners of each retreat. The teachings are authentic and relatable. A perfect place to start as a beginner as well as my go-to retreat center for the past 5 years. The yoga is special and transformational.
My Vipassana and Yoga Retreat experience with The Mindfulness Project Thailand was incredible! The most comfortable and approachable atmosphere for practicing and learning more about mindfulness and meditation in Thailand! The early morning yoga with Anja is a special treat that helped prepare me and my body to go deeper during the rest of the retreat. Christian and Anja and the monks are also very experienced and extremely supportive and understanding of where each person is at in their journey. Trustworthy guides. The MPT has a special connection with the temple and residents that allowed me to feel warmly welcomed. The Food was homemade Thai and consistently tasty. Peaceful temple grounds and setting with birds, architecture, plants and bells/chanting. Easy bus or flight from anywhere in Thailand. Go alone or invite your friends. A life marker. I’ll be back 🙂
I attended the Yoga & Meditation Retreat 2019 and it was amazing. The whole Setup of the Project felt so content and down to earth. Anja’s Yoga classes are all inclusive of every level and feel amazing, Swami’s Meditation and Yoga Nidra was also really entertaining and full of new information. And: The FOOD IS AMAZING! All freshly cooked with lots of veggies and fruits, always vegetarian and vegan is no problem on request. Extremely close to nature, so you connect on another level to your surroundings! And last but not least: the talking circle by Christian! It gives you a chance to dig into your feelings and open up in a save space, but also to acknowledge how other people feel without judgement! So please go, if you can! Any possibility to join these lovely people will reward you in so many ways!
The Mindfulness Project is a magical place. I attended the yoga retreat in October and was fully happy with my experience there. The people are so loving, the spiritual knowledge is authentic, the approach holistic and the vibe positive. I left with an open heart and felt truly transformed. Also the Vipassana was truly life-changing! Christian and Anja hold the space so well, I felt safe all the time and could just focus on my inner life. I am more my own friend now :)The Mindfulness Project will help you be yourself in this world! Don’t miss out on this ridicoulously cheap, but fantastic self-growth opportunity!
During the 5 weeks I stayed at the Mindfulness Project in March and April, I got to know so many incredible, loving souls who became family to me. I learned a lot about myself and I got to learn how to slowly (but surely) fall in love with myself… Above all I found a home. A place where people can be themselves and be loved for who they are. A safe space without judgement. Furthermore, the project helped me to become more mindful with the environment, planet earth and other living beings. To be grateful for the things we are offered, even if something seems small or meaningless. I cannot even begin to put into words how grateful I am to have made this experience and how valuable the lessons are I take with me from the project. Thank you sooo much!
