  1. Comfortable boat and great crew, the climb to the top of Koh Wau Ta Lap Island was hard but worth the effort and great view. Lunch back on board the boat was well catered and more than enough. Then visited the salt water emerald green lagoon,Talay Nai, more stairs and steps to get to the viewpoints but again well worth the effort.Opted for just the snorkeling rather than kayak, and a bit disappointed in the limited fish, coral and clams that could be seen in the shallow water.Be aware, as they say on the website, price paid does not include the park entrance fee for foreigners of 300 ฿, that is paid when you board the boat.Overall though, a good day out and would recommend Highseas Tours for a day in the Marine National Park.

  2. We took the sightseeing and kayaking option of this tour. We were picked up from our hotel at 7:45. There was the option of a light breakfast of a roll, hot drink and banana on board but we’d had breakfast at our hotel already.Lunch was a chicken, rice with vegetables and water melon. Water, pepsi and fanta were provided. The crew were friendly and helpful, but the announcements over the microphone difficult to follow. Very little briefings were provided and to a large extent it appeared you were responsible for your own health and safety. Life jackets were provided but not everyone wore them and the crew didn’t appear too concerned. The trek to the top viewpoint is not for the faint of heart. Takes about 30 mins to get to the top with moderate fitness. Great views at the top but it’s just a viewpoint. Take lots of water and proper walking shoes. The kayaking was fun but no clear route, just make sure you follow the group. The snorkeling area appeared quite limited and the water wasn’t deep and rocky at the bottom.Apparently you aren’t allowed to take any sea shells away from the beach so watch out. The prices for the tour appear to vary dependent on where you book it from too!

  3. The ship was not too bad, but with 180!!! people stranded on board you may find the only places available on the bottom deck near a noisy engine and the delicate scent of fuel fumes. We enjoyed the views from the 500 meters climb but it may prove too challenging for young children. The Kayaking route was planned well and enabled the exploration big some nice beach caves. Lunch and breakfast were very basic so while the trip is worth the efforts you may want to look for better, if more pricy, boat ride to take you there.

  4. The staff were friendly and helpful but the loudspeaker announcements Could not be heard clearly. If you don’t like heights this might not be the trip for you! The floating jetty is hard to manage if the water is a bit choppy and the climb to the top of the viewing platform is unachievable for some, the steps are more like a rock climb in places. The lagoon hike has very steep stairs and again is unachievable for some. The kayaking was fun but not much instruction given so make sure you have used one before you go. The lunch on the boat was great fresh food and really tasty. The trip was fun but please be aware some parts are hard going.

  5. Very average, no snorkelling possible due to low tide but then this would have been known so the price could have been adjusted. Not enough time was allowed for the 500meter climb as the weather wasn’t great so we could only manage 200 meters. I had some money stolen from my bag during kayaking when we left our bags at the National park so be very aware!

  6. Fantastic full day tour. Breakfast and lunch included. Magical canoeing and snorting around islands. Very happy and friendly staff.

  7. The experience was amazing. The big boat is very neat and clean. We had breakfast and lunch included in our package and the food served was really good. The all over experience and your guide’s efficiency was top knotch. Very impressed with everything. Mist visit when in Koh Samui.

  8. Booking and payment for trip on Mon 16 Dec was accepted, but the trip was cancelled/postponed due to poor weather/closure of the marine park. An alternative date of Tues 17 Dec was proposed, which was also postponed/cancelled due to park closure for an additional day, even though the weather on Tues 17 Dec was actually quite good with the sun coming out in a long time. As I was returning on home on Wed 18 Dec, there was no alternatives. Subsequent inquires regarding refund have not been replied. Will update this review if they get back to me.
