If you want to have fun on your vacation, this is the place!!! The owners, Pete and Kim are extremly helpful and friendly and there are a lot to do at their place. We tried windsurfing, stand up paddleboards, surfboards, kayaks and one thing you cant´t miss is the fitnessclass on paddleboards in the mornings. It´s a relly good workout!!! The windsurfing was awesome. I can really recommend Lanta Paddlesports, they have different boards and sails so you can always find something fitting your skills and sails to fit the wind.Go there and enjoy! (Don´t miss the Coconut-shake in the bar when you´re done) 🙂
I tried paddle boarding for the first time when I was on the island and I was hooked. It is an awesome way to get out on the water and get some exercise! Peter, the owner, is so nice and spends quality time teaching you the skills you need to jump on a board and go (and gives you great advice about what to do and where to get the best food on the island!!). I highly recommend going to see Peter at their Klong Dao location and trying out this sport, it is so fun! I also recommend the coconut banana shakes, they are delicious!
We tried paddlesports the first time and it is really fun and easy to learn.Pete and Kim are really nice and helpful. They show you how to go with the paddleboard and 5-10 minutes later you can stand on the board. Cool ! :)If you are lucky and there are some waves at the beach you can try to catch them and ride on it a little. They also have boogie boards and kayaks or windsurfing equipment if you prefer that.We did a tour with Pete and it was really great. We went with a longtail-boat to Talabaeng and started to paddle there. it was really fantastic. A great view of this impressive Island from a totally unusual perspective. Nobody was there except us. Really quiet and nice. A very nice day.You can feel that Pete really likes his sport and he shows it to you with big ethusiasm. We really can recommend to try Lanta-Paddlesports if you are on Ko Lanta. It is really cool.
Great athmosphere at the place. You can be just chilling out, or go paddleboarding on flat sea. If you are lucky there will be some waves, and do some wave surfing. Great people at the place, nice and friendly and really helpful. A place to enjoy.Frederik
I´m just glad I got the opporturnity to meet Pete, a true surfer from California. Who would have thought I would learn windsurfing and wavesurfing like this! Thank you Pete!I would recommend anyone to go Lanta Paddlesports. Try windsurfing, Stand up paddleboards ( SUP) or kayak, there is something for everyone in the family. And the location at Noble House is an extra bonus, a really nice resort. We will be back! I´ll even do the Fitness class on paddleboards next year!
Pete, the owner of the shop, ensures that you have absolutely great fun using his rental equipment. I rented windsurfing and stand up paddling equipment which I had just a perfect time with – in and on the water. Pete also took perfectly care of me, when I was caught by some strong gusts of wind during my first windsurfing session for many years. Highly recommendable place!
Pete is a wealth of knowledge and is very accommodating and knowledgeable! We rented wind surfers from him a couple of days and got some great pointers, and we also went out to Telebang Island and the mangrove forest which is a MUST do day trip in long tail/SUP 🙂 Thanks again for a wonderful experience!Tricia and Scott- Colorado
The people at Lanta Paddlesports are amazing. Was great to learn. First time out I was standing and paddling. Water is warm and the waves aren’t to bad. Makes it east for learning.
