When we first arrived, we went for massage to relieve ourselves. I had thai massage while my Friend went for foot massage. It was fantastic as they are very skilful. For the price you pay for, I won’t pick on the ambience. Just bring your own towel as you will be facing down.
Lovely staff and incredible massages for a really affordable price. I had a 1 hr back, shoulder and neck massage and my boyfriend had a foot massage. Both were brilliant and sorted us right out. The ladies listened to what we wanted 🙂 lots of competition nearby but I would definitely recommend this shop!
My wife and I had several massages at Family Massage during our one week stay in Ao Nang. The place is very basic, do not expect plush and luxurious setting, but it is clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing, I had a Thai lady (Ceelee ?) a few times, and she was always very careful and considerate about asking if you were comfortable with the intensity of the massage.All the staff were cheerful and gracious, and my wife also had similar relaxing and soothing massages. If the pressure of the Thai massage is too much, then simply inform the masseuse to be “softer”. For Thai Bhat 200 (less than US$7, which is the standard price around Krabi) for one hour, it’s impossible to beat a Thai massage. Despite other advice on various forums, we encourage you to generously tip the masseuse, who only gets 50% (or less) of the US$7 massage price for an hour of strenuous work. We highly recommend Family Massage & Beauty, give it a try if you are in Ao Nang.
We‘ve been here twice,the massages we had were very good.i really like the foot massage,aswell as back neck shoulder head.the staff is friendly,but they dont speak too much english 🙂
Massage was good and you had to tell them how strong the you want the massage. I had my foot scrub and the feeling was good. It opens earlier than the other shop about 9am.
I tried their 60 min. foot massage when I arrived in Krabi. Most of the massage places offer 60min. foot massage for 250 bht but Family massage and Beauty offer 60 min.foot massage for 200 bht!!Their massage technique was good! I had a very relaxing time. I ended up going there everyday!60 min. back and neck massage was also very good! I definately recommened this place for good massage!!
Very modest looking spa but don’t shy away by the looks … the masseuses were all experienced and knew what they were doing … we came here everyday at least once during our stay in krabi
I have had 4 foot massages – so far – and all with the experienced personnel at Family Massage and Beauty. Last night I added a foot scrub and am delighted with the results. Don’t let the outside presentation fool you – this is now my go-to place for massages in Ao Nang. And once you have been there more than once, you are treated like family. Prices are very reasonable; 200 Baht for an hour foot massage.
We had a lot of fun, but we cant say it was a good massage. I had a good one but my Friends Where most dissatisfied. If u get a Thai oil massage then they will try to go for your cock.
