This place is great for expanding on creativity. There are many uniquely painted elephant products which you can buy. Some of the profits are donated to the Asian Elephant Foundation. You can also paint your own elephant statue for around 1000B. Would recommend bringing kids to learn about nature and elephants, as well as participating in the painting.
perfect activity for children – designing and painting their own little elephant. Staff were very helpful and patient. Beautiful array of professionally painted ones for sale.
We had so much fun today painting our own elephant in a fun workshop where we had a blank elephant with art supplies and help with an in-house artist to help my two nephews and me paint our elephants. It’s a relaxing way to spend some time in Chiangmai. The hospitality was genuine and warming. Still recovering from motion sickness I was offered peppermint tea more than once, candies and a small snack. The nephews were really well looked after and really enjoyed the their time there. They behaved very well thank you Miguel for your kind hospitality and supplying snacks to the children. We really admire the fight for the conservation and protection of elephants.Elephant Parade is the worlds largest art exhibition of decorated elephant statues. 20% of Elephant Parade net profits are donated to The Asian Elephant Foundation.
We came here a few days ago in the morning to paint some elephant statues and ended up staying the whole day! We’re a crafty family so we really enjoyed making our own designs on these elephants. The staff are very kind and helpful and also enjoyed watching us paint 🙂 It’s an ideal way to spend the day and it’s all for a good cause; to help save the elephants.
This ‘shop’ is a mix of a souvenir shop and a charity organization. In the ‘front shop’ you can buy all sorts of elephant-y souvenirs. In the large back room you feel like in an art class. With some special colours you can paint ‘your own elephant’, different sizes, different prices.Part of the money goes to elephant organisations.
Great gallery for both adults and kids. Awesome cause too raising awareness for elephant poaching. My five year old loved it as she got to paint her own elephant.
The Colour Factory sells elephant statuettes. These are (i think) designed by and for the Elephant Parade. 20% of the proceeds of the sales go to Elephant welfare and conservation projects. This is already a worthy cause but the Colour factory is also a place where you can paint your own elephant or buy any of the totally cute, zany, charming and or off the wall ready painted elephants- there are surfing elephants, pirate elephants, English Bobby elephants, money elephants, elephants painted with manic chickens and my personal favourites, the pomegranate/orange or durian elephants. They vary greatly in design and size and can be bought in tiny toy car size up to about 3 1/2foot. There is so much imagination, beauty and pure zaniness on display and with such a good underlying purpose-go visit, buy, it’s a great momento and your money is going to a good cause
Amazing, beautiful elephants all at a great price. Great service and a very helpful staff. A lot of the money goes to helping to save elephants. Many of the designs were also very creative.
Great fun for 1 or few hours, painting on elephant statuettes. You can choose your size of elephants and the shapes.Great choices of colors and very patient staff…Very good activity, and it is for a good cause 🙂
Got the perfect gift for family and friends in this beautiful gift shop! What’s even better – the part of proceeds goes to charity. You can buy ready made little elephants or paint your own elephant in the shop. Great fun for the family, especially with young children.
